Thanks man. My protocol? Not much to it. I apply 3 pumps, 12.5 mgs each topically on my chest and stomach, being careful to wash my hands afterwards so as not expose my wife or daughter. I'm not into hairy chested ladies. Appt. With my Urologist in a month and T level blood tests. I hope I leveled out to about 600 and that's ok with him. I was hoping to try to start a weight training program to regain some of the muscle I've lost but my daughter comes first. I got about $4000 in weights and multistation weight machine in my basement gathering dust. I was pretty ripped 20 years ago but life, kids, work, Buffalo Chicken wings and Miller Lite got in the way.A prayer, is kinda the same as a "Like". If there are enough likes, God will take notice. So "Like" away please. My daughter needs your prayers. Thank You.

thats interesting haha. as far as the t gel, a mutual frind of mine takes a script of the t gel as well...he was complaining about the cost, idk the exact. Of course, gel is better than injecting test, its obviously more convenient to put on gel then inject yourself. But you ever give test inj a thought?Originally posted by Party View PostThanks man. Disappointing T level results today. 4 months ago after 2 months of TRT, my numbers were threw the roof. 880! I could feel it , new energy level. But today down to 280, free T 47, just made the low average level, WTF! Before I started TRT I was 193, why did I bother? I've noticed a change for the worse in my energy levels and attributed it to stress over my girlie's situation. But guess not. The doc had reduced my dosage after my very high T levels and said no to going back up. He was uncomfortable with that 880 number. I told him I don't think that will happen. Suggested that that was due to my own T production at first increase my levels. He said good point but my nuts should have shut down quickly. I'm screwed now cause I've lost half there size from a year ago. Arrrgh.A prayer, is kinda the same as a "Like". If there are enough likes, God will take notice. So "Like" away please. So over due catch up. Urologist visit yesterday. So I convinced him the last visit to let me alternate between 3 pumps one day, and 4 the next, and so on. He agreed. Well new level after 3 months was 527, YES! Would have liked closer to 600 but ok with me. I feel better, more energy, hasn’t helped my ED or less sensitivity issues but it’s ok. Told him about my trouble having an orgasm, but didn’t mention my torn frenulum, maybe next time. It could be age related as well he said. He was happy with my T levels and said, “527, you don’t get much better than that. Keep doin what you’re doin’”. Follow up in September.A prayer, is kinda the same as a "Like". If there are enough likes, God will take notice. So "Like" away please. My daughter needs your prayers. Thank You.

Would love to have a 527, I think my last check it was in the mid 400's. But better than the 150's before starting TRT. I too suffer from reduces sensitivity and my orgasms when they come are as flat as a pancake. Have learned that the most fun is leading up the the orgasm and not the orgasm itself. Therefore, I prefer and all day tease and lots of foreplay cause that is where my enjoyment is. Oh well, sucks getting old, doesn't it..

Why was he worried about 880 party? That is well within normal range many guys shoot for 1000 though there is a good argument for 600 -700 being optimum.

One thing I’ve noticed is I’m having regular morning wood again. Very odd since I have ED. This morning around 3 am I was rock hard, long and thicker than with Viagra. If this keeps up I may attempt sex without the blue pill. Maybe low T was my issue all along?A prayer, is kinda the same as a "Like". If there are enough likes, God will take notice. I'm the same way, massive night wood and difficulty without a little pill during the day. I'm curious what the body does that causes this great difference in ability to get an erection. As long as I am groggy and half asleep, the wood stays strong. Once I wake up, it goes away.Originally posted by Party View PostOne thing I’ve noticed is I’m having regular morning wood again. Congrats Party! Glad to hear you are seeing positive results with TRT. I'm not sure how I missed this thread but I'm glad you started it and have continued to update periodically.
I started TRT at the beginning of 2018 as well and I have definitely have noticed changes. The weird thing is that I didn't have all the normal signs of low T. I had no trouble getting/maintaining an erection. I went to a wellness clinic because I knew the Dr I see when I'm sick would only prescribe a bunch of pharmaceuticals that I didn't want to take. My complaint to the Dr at the wellness clinic was that I was having trouble staying mentally focused toward the end of the day, lack of energy.
It's funny that I've never had trouble finding the energy I need to exercise (not just PE exercise). I'm an avid runner and like to lift weights too. My problem was I had no energy or desire to do the normal everyday work around the home/property that is part of life.
My first labs in 2014 showed total T at 296, can't remember free T number. At that time I changed my diet, added some supplements in hopes of bringing it up without TRT.
3 yrs later I get labs done and Total T was up to 518 which I thought was great. Unfortunately, free T level was 8. That's barely enough to be considered a woman, much less a man. It lets me know how much PE has helped because even at that level, I was able to get rock hard erections. My biggest problem there is that I didn't have anything to do with those erections. The wife is going to the same wellness clinic now and hopefully she will get her hormones balanced and hopefully get her libido back.
The Dr recommended TRT as she felt that my T numbers in addition to low DHEA and low Vitamin D levels were the cause of my mental "fog" at days end. Also recommended getting my thyroid levels up a little to optimum even though lab values were in the "normal" range.
After 2 months on TRT, I definitely see that I'm staying caught up at work and overall more efficient at my job. I have a lot less trouble getting the daily jobs around the house done. Less difficulty getting started anyway. And once I get started, man I can work like an ox.
New labs after 2 months of TRT were Total T: 865, Free T: 56, DHEA: 1000 (above 1000 can't me measured accurately). These are from memory. lab site down right now and can't pull up exact numbers and can't recall TSH and others.
Ive had some of the opposite effects of you though Party. My blood pressure was up a little higher than I liked before starting TRT. Since starting, my BP has come down to perfect levels.
I've definitely gotten stronger. The weights I was lifting before TRT were a struggle to complete my workouts and I never added weight. Now those same weights are feeling easy and the workouts it used to take me 40 min to complete only take 25 minutes.
I too miss my big hanging balls and I hope they don't continue to shrink away but I've come to accept that it's part of the deal. Some posts in this thread saying that they bounce back a little gives me some optimism.
Overall, I"m feeling great. I just wish my better half could respond as quickly as I have. If/when she gets her libido back, life will be great again. If she doesn't, I fear for our future.
Sorry to drag this out so long, but you did ask for others to post their experiences here after all
Aug 2012: BPEL: 6.25", BPSFL: 6.75", MEG: 5.25"
Jan 2016: BPEL: 6.75", BPSFL: 6.75", MEG: 5 3/8"
4/16/16 BPEL: 7.0", BPSF: 7 7/16"", MEG:5.5

Understanding what is going on with your wife's body can give you great insight as to why her libido is low. Many people believe that women lose their sex drive and never get it back but I do not believe this is true. From personal experience and lots of reading about what my body was going through and having a great partner with a lot of support my libido is better than ever. So no matter what age your wife is, know that it is not normal for us to not want sex. It can sometimes be put on the back burner because life gets in the way but it is natural for us to desire our partner. So find out if she is going through menopause, or stressed about life and the kids or even perhaps some other issue. Be an understanding partner, one that will support her and help her through what ever her body is going through right now.Originally posted by domnus View PostCongrats Party! Personally, I am a little put off by the "If she doesn't, I fear for our future" comment. You should be concerned with helping her, not ultimatums because frankly if you do end it because "she" couldn't get her libido back soon enough, you will be missing out on the best part of her sex life.

Hi D . Was the free testosterone measured by sensitive method? I am surprised they did not supplement with vit d and see what effect that had on test levels before going to trt.

I feel decent, can’t say good, but got on my plate right now. I’ve lost a lot of muscle over the years but noticed some toning up of what I got left.Originally posted by Sticke View PostSo happy it works for you. OMG yes. My Mrs is incredible now. After a romp she has no idea how many orgasms she’s had. Listen to the ZZ gal.
