  • klepto23872's Progress Log

Hi everyone. This is just to get the progress log started, up and on the board. This way I can get motivated easier. Instead of having the vague, abstract desire to follow through with a regimen, I can have a concrete log of what I'm doing and not doing. That way I can get the concrete log I want. I have done PE in the past but for only 2 weeks at a time at the most. I am more committed now as I failed out of college, have been cut off, and want to start taking responsibility for what I want and don't want out of life. It can only come from within me.
My routine to start will be 7-10 minutes of warm up (hot shower water in cupped hands), stretching for 30 seconds apiece for the 5 major directions (down, up, out, left, right) with kegels being done throughout to determine LOT. Then 50 jelqs done outward.

I also would like this log to function as a place to track other accomplishments in my life, such as working out in the more traditional sense, and career goals etc.

I hope to meet as many of you (via internet) as possible. From reading the forums, this appears to be one of the nicest most supportive group of people I've ever encountered.

For the sake of posting rough initial measurements, I will post them as I remember from about a year ago.

    EG-4.5"

Good luck on your journey and your life. My advice in regards of PE is to get a structured routine. Look in the beginner's forum for JP's routine. Do' not warm up for less then 10 min. and if you can use rice sock or hot wash cloth wrap. Dedicate yourself to a regime, maybe 2on 1 off, or 5on 2 off, and stick to it. They gains will come when they are ready. Read and ask as many questions as you like.

Today (5/12/10) I started with 8 minutes of warming up even though I should do 10. Then I started stretching by pulling it left with my right hand (to avoid putting pressure on the head) doing a kegel per second for 30 seconds. I did heli shakes after that (for about 10 seconds) then repeated with the right, down, up, and straight out in that order doing heli shakes after every one.
My jelqing routine was 50 ok grips followed by 30 v jelqs. I will upgrade this with another set of each next time.
I am currently looking for a job so I am not sure what my schedule will be. I hope to be able to wake up before my roommates and do my routine. My calculations for the time it will take are as follows: 10 minutes for warming up plus 1 minute per directional stretch (30 sec-stretch 30 sec heli shake) plus 10 minutes for jelqing plus 5-6 for warm down. This takes roughly 30 minutes. With a 20 minute grooming routine. If i woke up at 630, I would be done my routine and ready for the day at 730. Should work. sun, mon, wed, thurs. and maybe sat will be my workout days.
      Oh and my initial goal:
      BPEL: +.5"
      EG: +.25"

Missed two days of workouts. Thats no good, I know. Ive been waking up in the afternoon. Dont have any time to do anything in private. As soon as I get a job, I should be able to do this shit regularly. I started running again though. 2 days in a row. followed by bicycle crunches and pushups. whatever kind of progress is worthy to go up here. its my progress log for christsakes.
