Edging on days off?

Ok so basically I'm wondering if edging on a day off is considered not taking a day off?
I know days off are essential. So I want to give it rest, but I definitely rub one out on a day off that's mandatory.
But if I was to make it a 20 minute or 30 min edging would that defeat the purpose of a day off?
Thoughts and experiences?

I often edge on the days off. But the edging for me is aimed towards preE, not just PE. Plus there is often sex on days off.
