Differences from being a 6 incher from a 5?

Curious to hear stories from people's experiences when PEL goes above 6". In the low to mid 5 right now so curious if significant others and wives have noticed and what they've said.

My wife doesn't notice the length unless we're playing with her big toys and she's taking 8-9".

But girth, she totally notices.
