New to the forum, but not new to PE.
After doing PE on and off the past... gosh, 4-5+ years and having moderate success I have been working about getting back in the saddle and seeing what hanging can truly do for me when you put the hours in.
I bought an LG hanger years ago and I think, like many, believed I'd have the time to dedicate to such a difficult and taxing routine on the unit. Life got in the way and I left pe by the wayside. It's a fickle mistress.
Now, I have prepped myself and am currently on a hanging routine once again. Time has been made available to me that wasn't prior so I can put forth an incredible effort, especially during covid. Below I will try to be as descriptive as possible on what my current routine is and any plans down the road.
Hanging:
2 hours/day Monday - Sunday. 2 1 hour sessions with a minimum 4 hour break in-between.
Routine
-infrared light warmup for 9 minutes with stretching
-rough JP 90 stretching 10 mintutes.
- 6 minutes jelq/4 minutes v-jelq with olive oil. I personally do 3/2/3/2.
- I have recently learned that I have moderate turkey neck as well. To fix this and reading a couple pages on possible solutions, I will be using leftover lg hanger silicone strips (2 thin strips at max) to clamp the balls downward to reduce the extra skin. The jelqing has much improved the past couple days now that I'm not just jelqing large amounts of skin. Over time if the turkey neck reduces, I'd be a happy man but the purpose is for the routine to be solid and not do empty-handed work.
-immediately wash hands in dawn and make a sudsy solution to wipe on and off crotch to remove oil from hands/penis before hanging with terry towel.
- tape up with tender tape/equivalent and strap in for a 1 hour hanging session. My mode of method is 95% sd, 5% btc.
- remove lg hanger and tape
- infrared for another 9 minutes
-rough JP 90 stretching 10 mintutes.
- 6 minutes jelq/4 minutes v-jelq with olive oil
fin.
Clamping:
Every other day - 15 minutes. Right after my last hang session that day. Clamp showing 4-5 notches. Following redzulu's (I believe, will correct if wrong) guide to clamp just tight enough to have a good bit of blood retained during session, but also loose enough to continuously kegel in fresh blood.
* the clamping in this routine isn't meant or intended to be a very large part of this. Hanging is truly the main attraction of this show.
Other thoughts/notes:
*I am moving up .5 lbs every week. I have found a manufacturer that now makes fractional weights otherwise i'd be going up 1+ lb/week using the arbor weights from lg ages ago. I am looking to take my time with this attempt at hanging. I'll gladly send this name to people via private message, I am not affiliated nor do I wish this to be advertising anything.
**as the week goes on, given I am at a lower weight, I am testing hanging over an hour. About 1.5 hours at max. I believe more is more when it comes to hanging if there isnt any pain and my head isn't ice cold after a session.
*** also to note, I am trying to leave silicone bands on as long as possible to prevent turtling. This has left me with extremely dry skin, some parts with minor scars or abrasion because the silicone was too tight (not stretched enough). Thinking of buying a very hydrating oil (bio-oil) to help counteract or help drying.
Lastly, my intent is to provide a weekly update with the amount of hours hung each week, PIs and anything else I can think of. This is to be fair to myself and anyone else following my journey, while holding myself to a high standard.
- I plan on measuring once I progress past 10 lbs (once I change weights to 10.5). Gains are said to start in the 8+ lb range. I am giving it a little bit of wiggle room.
Good luck and godspeed.
