    Y'all have helped me alot I figure I will try to do a log and maybe help someone else. This may be a lame thread but here's the deal.
    Started the QEP about 2 weeks before I found this site. I'm one month in and I feel like just now I'm getting the jist of it. I'm a grower not a shower and I've added rods until the springs are just almost engaged. I get about 3 hours a day 5 days a week. I'll update my bio but I'm 6" erect. So far my EQ has gone down considerably so I may need to remove a rod and go slower. Because of the EQ problem measurements are difficult however I've gained approx 1/4 " girth which is strange. I have a strong bend to the left which now seems more pronounced.

    I'm and alcoholic and have been smoking for over 30 years. I'm 45 and 200 pounds 5'11" tall. I've recently started smoking alot of pot to try to help my insomnia. This I think is messing with my sex drive. I live with my girlfriend and our sex life is trash. I have preE problems due to a tight PF from constantly coughing.

    Again this is only something to try to keep me accountable....for the progress or lack thereof and
    I'll try to make it a success story or others can learn what not to do

    To add. I have not made any modifications to the QEP as of yet. The washer trick is essential and had I done this earlier I would have gotten my proper tension mind set earlier.

      Logs are great .

      What are your thoughts on general health improvement .

        I hope to improve that as well. So another goal is to quit nicotine. Everytime I have a smoke while wearing the extender I'm like "that'll help you fucking idiot". I'm 45 and I don't want to be addicted when I'm 46.
        Ive had severe insomnia for almost 20 years and there in lies the downward spiral with alcohol. I know it's not helping my sleep but it helps me to go about life when all I want to do is lay down in a dark room. Then there's the sleeping pills.... Anyways to keep this on the brief side I've started to cut back and switch from vodka to beer and plan to start implementing at least one sober evening a week.

        So I took a rest day yesterday and have all day to mess around with the QEP. I have a constant turtle so I'm going to remove 2 small rods and start the first hour. 2nd hour add one small. 3rdhour resume my new norm. So for reference I'm 6" msfl and bpel. I have one long extension and one medium extension to get me in the ballpark of where I should be. I'm noticing my pelvic floor occasionally spasming and I'm clenching it unconsciously. Yet another bad habit to work on.

          I've been experimenting with jelqing. I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing but I've noticed the first inch or so under my glans feels very firm. The rest of the shaft feels pretty loose. Hopefully I'll see some gains if I can get that part to loosen some.

            Had sex yesterday. Could barely get it up and had preE again. I've thought more about it and I'm pretty sure I'm over doing it with the extender. With only about 45 hours use I've put on too many extensions. Live and learn...I rushed into this. So I removed 2 small rods and will try another 15 hours. If my flaccid stays shriveled blike it's been I'll have to take a long break....which breaks my heart.

              Things are getting a little better. I'm positive I'm in the right spot on the extender.... I just have to be patient which is ok but wish I would have done this in my 30s. I've cut back on drinking and actually got a few decent night's sleep and EQ was halfway decent last time I had sex.

              Biggest obstacle I think now is the tight pelvic floor. That and extending don't go together. I did mindless kegels thinking it would help orgasms and I created a bad habit. I have to concentrate on not tensing now I do it out of habit especially when I'm stressed out.

                It's hard to say how many hours or weeks I have with the QEP due to the first 2weeks getting used to it. I would say I've got 50 quality hours over a four week span. I just took 4 days off in a row and took a measurement last night. I'm not getting too excited but it's like a 1/16" bigger... Or at least it was at the moment. EQ has mostly gone back to normal and in some cases is actually better. Have to say I'm excited to see what the next month will bring!

                  I'm at 6.25" bpel all day long! My eg is damn near 5" definitely not 4.75 like it was 5 weeks ago. The rest of my life is in the toilet lol but this is absolutely mind blowing. I've been extending closer to 5 hours a day now and I'm extending at my bpsfl. Added a rod after my 4 day break

                    Well this isn't so much a progress log as it is a diary...oh well.
                    So the past few weeks have been pretty disappointing. No new progress despite the extra time spent wearing the extender. I'm at about 160 hours in and have decided to cut back to 3 hours a day 5 days a week. Still floating around 6 to 61/4 inch bpel.

                    One thing I should have done from day one is to scientifically and methodically find a way to accurately measure the schlong. I can be optimistic or disappointed depending on how I hold the ruler.

                      Measured yesterday.. 6 and 3/8. Bottom line the numbers are changing on the ruler. I've always extended down while at work but I'm putting in less hours and doing it a home where I can extend up and straight out. I'm more aware of clenching my PF and getting better at relaxing it. I only put in one hour a day the past 7 days and I'ts been nice. Gonna take 3 days off just because.

                        Things are going well. I'm at a half inch gain in almost 3 months. Using the same ruler measuring bone pressed on the top and bone pressed on the side the results are there....those lines keep changing.
                        i did cunnys glans support mod and that was a game changer. I get a very intense stretch and it's hard to walk around and hard to hide so I rarely do it at work anymore. So can't put in many hours...which so far is working thank God. Any more than 3 hours a day and my EQ suffers big time so I'm at a sweet spot....just got to be patient.
                        Covid and pneumonia got me off the smokes after all these years

                          Bought a bathmate. It's pretty cool but the valve at the top is janky and doesn't work well. 5 minutes Mon Wednesday and Friday in addition to 3 hours a day extending. The manual stuff is still confusing to me but I do some manual stretching. 6 and 5/8... Going strong

                            Well I'm about sick of this thing lol. I'm still staying the course...but the end is in sight. I have 4 small rods to go before my QEP is maxed out...I believe at 8 inches. Which will no doubt take another few months. The newbie gains are gone and it's taking longer and longer to add a small rod. When at the end of my first session the QEP is fully extended...that's when I add one. I may add or remove a rod throughout the day but I stay pretty consistent and keep spring tension while wearing it.

                            Good news is the ruler is getting smaller. I'm just barely hitting 6 3/4". I'm going to try to get as many hours in as I can and I won't take a measurement untill the end of November. That will be 5 months and approx 300 hours. It would be nice to hit 7 before the end of the year.

                            The bathmate is on hold. If I don't get hard beforehand my dick does a horseshoe in it. And I haven't felt like looking at porn while filling it up with one hand and jacking in the other then standing in the shower for 10 minutes. Wish I had some cool stories to share but my GF usually doesn't notice my extra bit....but I can hit the cervix more often. It's not for her anyway

                              Some lessons learned over the past few weeks. I lack the self control to manually stretch. I pull too hard can't help it. I've made zero gains this month. Cunnys glans mod while awesome to get strapped in... Can lead to over stretching in the hands of an inpatient man. I've removed a small rod and now when I put it on it's down one line... And in an hour it's fully extended. That's where I personally need to be as far as tension. Due to the weather and having to wear pants at work I can only extend one hour a night. Then before the shower 5 minutes tunica tugs followed by squeezes then 5 minutes jelqing. Usually I just get off after that it doesn't seem to affect anything. Masturbating actually has helped my anxiety about sex and my preE has not been an issue lately.

                              So after over doing it for a few weeks with the over stretching I feel back in the saddle. Seems like a tight rope but in actuality when it turtles... Back off a bit. God I'm impatient though. The jelqs help with my EQ and squeezes don't seem to bother me. I've been thinking about trying out an ADS but still doing research.

                              I've been reading a lot of people's progress logs some have been inspiring. They inspire me to keep this log going instead of just lurking. And the good ones are priceless like I'm reading a self help book that was written just for me.

                              Alcohol will always be a struggle for me. I've hit another bottom over the past year and I'm crawling out of it. My girlfriend ( who is also an alcoholic) is almost sober....like a half bottle of wine a night. This is mostly due to a last ditch effort to save our relationship. I'm at a bottle (small one) a night. I'm sleeping better. Our sex life got awesome for a week. It's amazing how not being a moody psycho will get you laid more often. But it's always there...I've built my life on alcohol and it's there just like the weather.

                              I've gained 15 pounds ... So thàts another thing to fix. I got an awesome shake for breakfast off Amazon and water kefir grains to brew kefir. I've always lifted weights but it's back to focus on cardio. Getting off vodka has been great for me mentally but I'm eating more or something. Next post will be positive gains
