  • BRD's Extender Progress Log

    Hi,

I started using a QuickExtenderPro extender on July 30, 2010, so I am now one month in. I have strictly followed the guidelines in the manual as far as tension bars and time of use go. I purchased the extender before finding this forum. If I had to do it again I may buy a different brand, but the QEP is working fine for me so far. I was able to log 140 hours in my first month. I could have logged more time, but followed the instructions and only used it for a few hours per day the 1st week and worked up to 8 hours per day. I'm hoping to be able to log 200+ hours in my 2nd month. I'm still not stretching at my erect length. I add .1" after every 28 hours of use.

I have not added any manual exercises into my routine as I want to see what I can do with an extender alone. Down the road I may decide to add to my routine. I work from home most days, which makes wearing an extender easy for me. If I worked in an office I would have probably gone the manual exercise route.

Here are my starting measurements and measurements after 1 month of extender use:

    Start (7/30/10):
    BPEL: 6.5"
    MSEG: 5.2"
    BPFSL: 6.75"

    As of 8/30/10:
    BPEL: 6.75"
    MSEG: 5.25"
    BPFSL: 6.9"

So I gained .25" in BPEL, which I'm very happy with considering I have not been stretching close to my EL during the 1st month. The girth increase could be measurement error as it is a very small increase, but I'm very confident in the length increase as I measured my starting BPEL several times in the span of a week before starting with the extender.

My 6 month goal is a BPEL of 7.5" and a MSEG of 5.5".

From what I have read extenders seem to be best for gaining length, but I'm hoping to get some girth gains as well. We'll see how it goes.

To gain girth you'll need to do other things, but for now it probably makes the most sense for you to focus on your extender work.

Good luck with your 6 month goal.

I logged 9:00 hours with the extender yesterday. My goal each week will be to log 50 hours. On days when I work from my home office all day it will be easy for me to get 8-9 hours in, but on other days it will be difficult to get in just a couple of hours. So over a 7 day period I'm going to try to get in 50 hours. My extender user guide recommends 8 hours per day, 7 days per week (56 hours) for the fastest results.

Today and tomorrow should be good days, but it will be tough for me to get many hours in over this upcoming weekend.

I don't intend to update this log daily as I think I would run out of things to say since extending is pretty much the same thing every day. I only plan to take measurements on the 30th of each month. I have been keeping a detailed daily log of extending hours and length on an Excel spreadsheet. I will probably update this log every week with the hours I've extended that week and any time in between when I have something worthwhile to share.

My extender experience so far has been great. It has been close to pain free and I enjoy wearing it as I know it is for a good reason. I started extending at the recommended (by QuickExtenderPro) length of 1.4" less than my erect length and am still not up to my EL. Despite this my EL increased .25" in the 1st month. So I'm hoping that I never really have to extend past my EL (or BPEL anyway) if it continues to increase as I increase rods. That way I will never be getting to the point of an uncomfortable stretch that is hard to maintain for longer periods of time. We'll see how it goes.

I managed to log 41.5 hours with my extender last week, which is a little less than what is needed for my goal of 200 hours minimum per month. My next measuring date is not until September 30th. I've been gradually increasing my extending length by .1" for every 28 hours of use. Hopefully this week I can get closer to 50 hours in.

I've been getting in 8-9 hours with the extender the past couple of days and today should be another good day for it.

I have a girlfriend who does not know about my extender use. I'm not sure how she would take it if she found out, but I feel there is a good chance she would think it is a waste of time. On the other hand, she may be all for it, I don't know, but I don't want to take the chance. I figure at some point when the difference in size can't be mistaken I may tell her. Then again I may just tell her the size increase is from edging during sex. I do believe I gained a little size from that over the past year, but that was before I knew about PE and how to measure correctly, so I'm not sure. To me the main benefit of her knowing would be I could wear the extender when she is around.

Even though I've only gained .25" so far I do notice a difference during sex. I seem to bottom out more in certain positions (her legs up) and have to be careful or I can cause her pain (she seems to like some pain). She is not shy about telling me that size matters, but only because she thinks I'm above average and confident in my size (she is saying it as a compliment, not in a negative way). And just knowing that I can get bigger gives me a lot of confidence in bed.

Great dedication. Averaging seven hours a day is fantastic. I am jelous. I am only averaging 3 to 3.5 hours, but have been doing it for four months. I don't measure regularly for several reasons. This morning, however, I pumped for ten minutes and then slipped on a cock ring and noticed my EL looked longer than usual so I got out a ruler and measured. I was surprised to see my NBPEL and BPEL were both up about 1/2" from when I started.

              not2big,

Thanks and congrats on your gains! I work from an office in my home most days which is ideal for getting in a lot of extender time.

                BRD,
I also started out doing many hours a day, as you have chosen to do. Not taking much time off in the way of "rest days". That was most of my first year. Now in year 2, I am bringing into play, less hours a day extending, and more frequently, taking a rest day.
The driving forces for changing this were EQ & PI's.
After becoming a believer that I could cultivate some success, I wanted to improve EQ & PI's. Come to find that the gains are just as good when incorporating more rest days. Of course, your mileage may vary. I can't help wonder if I had started taking more rest days earlier in my use of an extender, how things would have turned out.
Point: give it a rest once in a while.
                Regards,

                  Hi Dangler,

Thank you for your advice. Do you still exclusively use an extender, or have you added other devices or manual exercises to your routine? Did your early heavy extender use made your EQ worse than before you started?

I do try to get in as many hours per day as possible (8-9), but due to my schedule there are some days when I can only get in an hour or two. So while that may not be a complete rest day it pretty much feels like one. This past week I was able to get in 40.5 hrs. Most of those hours came over 5 days. Do you these 1-2 hour days would qualify as rest days?

                    Weekly Update:

Last week I was able to get in 40.5 hours with the extender. That's two weeks in a row of around 40 hours per week, which makes me think my goal of 200 hours per month is a little unrealistic. My new more realistic goal is 160 hours per month. Some days I'm able to get in 9 hours, but other days I can only do 1-2 hours. It has to do with my schedule and the fact that you can't really wear an extender doing physical work and I don't wear it when around my girlfriend since I don't want her to know about it. Discomfort has not been a limiting factor in the amount of hours I can wear the extender. I have taken a very gradual approach, starting my extending length at 1.6" under my EL and only adding .1" every 28 hours (after the initial adaption period).

I've been very disciplined so far in only measuring once per month. My next measure date is Sept 30th. Since I gained .25" in BPEL in my 1st month I'm having a hard time not hoping for another .25" during the 2nd month. I realize that it is totally unrealistic to gain that much each month so I need to keep those thoughts in check.

The extender is the only thing I do for size gains, but I have also been doing kegels about 5 days per week for 6-7 minute sessions. I've added the supplements l-arginine and zinc to my program as well. I've been taking 3000g of arginine for about 1 month and have not noticed any postitive effects so far. I'll probably give it another two months before giving up on it. I've only been taking zinc for about 1 week so far.

Along w/ extender, I've increased manual exercises, jelqing, and use a pump before & after extender.
My EQ/PI are also at the effect of age & diabetic nerve damage. In my opinion, 1-2hr sessions are not the type of break I'd consider worthwhile, more indicative of being too eager to gain. Trust me, you start mixing in a 24 or 48 hr (read this as two days in a row) break and my experience is you'll get more by doing less. Your mileage may vary, but, until you make yourself work through this, you will not know.

I noticed you pump before going in the extender. Accordingly, do you experience any slippage out of the strap/noose as your engorgement begins to subside? My girth is at least 1/2 inch larger after pumping.

Last week was a good week with the extender. I managed to get in 47.5 hours even though I took the day off on Saturday. This week should be a good one as well as my girlfriend is away.

I wrote a much longer update, but my laptop crashed just before I was about to post it. Now I'm aggravated, so I'm keeping this one short.

My next measure date is 10 days away. I'm really hoping to see more gains, but I can't say that I have visually noticed any since last month. I'm still stretching below my EL and just adding .1" for every 28 hours of use. I hoping that when I get past my EL the gains will come.

I know! I have the ideal setup for extender use. I work from home most days of the week so I can get in a lot of hours. I've been taking things very slowly as far as increasing the extender length goes, so pain and/or discomfort is not really a limiting factor in how long I extend each day.
