  • needhelp progress log(PE, ED, working out)

So I figured Id do a log to keep track of everything Im doing and maybe some motivation for others eventually. First post will be long because Im providing some background as well as where Im at currently. So heres some background.

    ED

I had porn induced ED last year after PMO'ing for 8-9 years. I did the reboot and would like to say I recovered. But like a fucking idiot I went back to porn and find myself in the same shitty situation I was in last year. Id say it was September of last year when I last used porn(besides recently). I was keeping count but stopped counting after I got over 110 days or so. The reboot works like they say it does. For the first month or so I wanted to watch porn badly, but held back. After that, I had no urge to watch porn at all, but at the same time I had no libido. This time period seems to take the longest but eventually you make it through and feel like a new person. I believe the morning wood is a great indicator of where you are in your recovery.

I think as of now its been 2-3 weeks since Ive looked at porn and I only looked at it for maybe that same amount of time. I would like to share how I got back into it and I hope people take a mental note of it. Last year after failing to have sex a few times right before I started my reboot, I swore I would never use porn again. Well, I did. I started off just checking out a picture, then a video of just one naked girl, then that turns into a sex scene, then so on and so on, and I found myself checking out the same ol shit I used to. Thats when I knew I had to stop. Then after a couple of days my libido was shot. THATS when I knew I fucked up, because now I have to go through the whole rebooting process again. Since I had just had my libido back, I knew exactly what that empty feeling was. I believe that this time it wont be near as long, because Im starting to slightly get some morning wood back, even though its not the raging hard on it was before. We will see how it progresses.

    PE

About 20 days into my recovery last year I started the JP90 program. September 22nd to be exact. I was inconsistent with my routine. I think at first I was doing 5 on 2 off but I would miss a day here or there. Then I switched to the 2 on 1 off routine. I also never kegeled and never took any suplements. Despite that I still gained about .5 in length and .25 in girth if Im not mistaken. I know for a fact I had gained the length in 2 months. Anyways I got lazy with it and with school, work, and trying to work out, I didnt really have much time for PE.

On May 8th, last Tuesday I re started my PE journey. Im doing the 2 on 1 off routine. So as of right now I have done PE 6 out of the last 8 days. Flaccid hang is a definite improvement and I remember that being an improvement that happened rather quickly last time as well. Not sure about EQ, but I know that improvement is coming.

    Here are my beginning numbers:

    BPEL: 5.5 approx
    MEG: 4.5 approx
    Flacid length: 3-3.5 i think

This time I am staying committed, taking supplements(garlic, zinc, l-argintine, ginger root, and ginkgo), and doing kegels. If anyone has something to add about the supplements please do. The garlic, ginger, and ginkgo are some of the supplements I had left over from last time I tried to get on them, so I dont know if I should continue using them or not.

    Working Out

Right now I am just doing body weight exercises and taking creatine. Will post routine for those interested. Will post results along with routine in a few weeks or so.

    Day 8

Did the normal JP 90 program. Today was the first day that Ive had a really good, flushed flaccid to jelq with. Ive found that sometimes when its not as flushed, Ill switch to an overhand grip for a few strokes, then switch back to the underhand. It seems like it gets more blood in there. Also edged for 20 mins or so, wasnt keeping track. Today was the first day I tried the reverse kegel while edging and it helps. Got a little too far past the PONR and came afterwards. I was afraid of turtling after but it didnt. Overall, a week in, I dont seem to turtle near as much if at all and in the flaccid state it seems to be more stretchy.

For my workout I did elevated pushups. I have 2 stacks of books about 6 inches high and 1 and 1/2 feet apart that I use. This exercise really builds a big chest from what Ive read. I used this routine I read about yesterday. Basically you do 3 reps at a time, with 10 seconds in between each set, for 15 minutes straight. Once you cant do 3, then you switch to 20 seconds in between sets, then 30, and so on. That was pretty tough. I also did brazilian squats or something like that for 10 minutes.

If you are really serious about working out, I strongly suggest going to gym. Nothing beats barbell training when it comes to building strength and muscle mass. Furthermore, tracking progress is extremely easy. I've done this for 6 months and I'm almost twice as strong as when I started (noob gains, but still). Do it too and you won't regret it.

I have porn induced ED too but I'm thinking I might be past it. Getting erections all the time.

I dont have time to go to the gym because of work. Eventually Ill get a weighted vest or cut down the rest in between sets.

In that case my advice is to find time. All in all it takes about 1,5 hours a day (including showers, etc) in 3 days a week. Cut out the television and browsing silly internet memes and you'll find time. Weighted vest helps nothing. In home environment there is nothing that can replace deadlifting 120kg, benching 80kg and squatting 100kg, etc. The only really useful excercise you can do at home is pull-up. You have to understand that building muscle and strength needs consistently more and more resistance. Limits to that come really soon at home training.

Furthermore getting a big chest is not really enough in itself. It'll look silly if you have small shoulders and arms. Or a small back. Or chicken legs. The key is work out the whole body. Think about it. If home training was effective, no one would go to gym. I don't mean to sound judgemental but I just have to point this out. If you won't go to gym you won't make real progress and are actually wasting your time.

This is isn't easy and most people don't really have what it takes. Usually these people come up excuses why they can't do this or that. Not having having time is the most popular of these. Now, the athletic ones did find time even though they have the very same 24h a day you have. I also have a hunch that they might be working too. That's the difference. Find time and you'll make it. Otherwise you won't. Simple as that.

Just found this from where I posted it last year. Here's a quick update on the past year:

I did PE for maybe 2 more weeks or so until giving up, same with working out. I started back around september or october and have been off and on since then, even though I have been slightly more consistent in 2013 and even more so recently. Working out has been pretty consistent too this year.

Just measured this morning and I was at about 6 inches BPEL, and 4.75 MEG. My bpfsl was 6 1/4. so after doing nothing for over 3 months after I started this thread and being inconsistent in the 3 or so months that followed, I've still managed to add 1/2 in length and 1/4 in girth. Only more motivation to stay consistent. The 6 1/4 bpfsl was pretty encouraging as well.
