  • My Progress Log

As my nickname suggests, I can't believe I'm posting here, but I figured what the heck? If I am able to get some tips/encouragement from experienced users, all the better. Here goes nothing (and hopefully everything)!

Starting stats (measured Day 3 as I didn't have appropriate rulers Day 1):
    31 years old
    6'1"
220 lbs (unfortunately some body fat, mostly in the stomach area, but I also have some muscle in other places, but not a whole lot)
    BPEL - 5.75in
    EG - 5.00in
I guess I'm about an average EG but a little shorter than average on BPEL...not really sure.

Long term goal - BPEL of at least 7.00in and I don't know about EG. I guess at least 5.5in.
As of right now I don't have a "short term" goal because I honestly don't know what I should be striving for (i.e. everybody responds different so don't want to disappoint myself by putting too much of a gain goal in too short of a time).

Plan of attack: Do the beginner exercises on the website itself for 4 weeks. Then switch to JP90 and follow that (advanced Kegeling and V-Jelqs seem to be the difference). Measure once per month.

I am also planning on really ramping up my weight training regimen and working on the stomach. This and PE are my 2013 resolutions, which is saying something because I'm not into the resolution thing. I resolve to take a year for myself to get in better shape in multiple areas, then resume my quest to find a serious girlfriend/eventual wife to start life with, preferably one who might be into the whole AdultFriendFinder thing (PE will help in the AFF regard too). I have been going to the gym for about 4 months but really don't know what I am doing. I plan on asking a friend who lifts regularly to help me out, but that has complications that I won't get into here.

    Day 1 (12/29/2012):
10 minutes warm water warm up
6 minutes stretch (rotating up, out, left, right and holding each for 10 seconds)
    10 minutes Jelq
50 kegels, holding each for an average of 1-2 seconds

I had difficulty getting a good grip during stretching. I was either pulling on skin, basically only stretching my FP, or I was slipping and grabbing/anchoring on the head. Also, not sure if I'm Jelqing correctly. Read that it is supposed to be like drawing blood continuously up the shaft, but it felt more like once I got about half way up, things would internally "slip down" towards the base. Think of a balloon a clown would use to make balloon animals. Partially blow it up, then move the air back and forth up and down the balloon. One end gets thicker while the other gets narrower as you move the air back and forth. I am doing the alternating hands, stopping at the start of the head while starting the other hand. Not sure if I'm gripping too tight, not enough, etc. Or maybe I'm doing it correctly and just don't know. I didn't have any pain or crazy weird stuff afterwards, so I guess if I was wrong, it wasn't horribly wrong.

    Day 2 is rest.

      Day 3:

Routine identical to day 1 except I bought a heating pad that gives out "moist heat." I am doing every other day, adding 1 minute of stretching and 5 minutes of Jelq until I finish Week 4, which is the switching point to JP90.

Still having difficulty getting a stretching grip. Tried the suggestion of holding the skin back with one hand while stretching with the other, but this was rather difficult and I felt hindered more than helped. I decided to go with using the head-shaft border as an anchor for now, and if things start going south, trying to find an alternate solution (any help is appreciated). Didn't squeeze as much on the Jelqs today. Managed to maintain about 70-75% EL throughout the 10 minutes. Still not sure if I'm doing this right either but will continue for the time being.

As I'm cleaning up, I notice that while I returned to an almost 0% EL, the head was still looking as it does during an erection (swelled, reddish). It did go back to more "normal" after about 5 more minutes. According to PI, this seems to be neutral. I think it will be a little while at least until I start to see positives.

Also did an "edging" session afterwards. I normally only masturbate once, maybe twice a week, and I've always done my version of edging during that (slowly building up then as I get closer take a few seconds break). I find this makes the end result better. However, today I took myself closer to the PONR than I normally do. I probably did this 3 or 4 times over a 30 minute period. I tried incorporating Kegels into the PONR times. Each time I was able to stop, and I felt one spasm and perhaps a small amount of a liquid-ish feeling rising to the top but not visible. I felt 30 minutes was enough and decided to let nature take it's course.

Not sure if I'm supposed to be edging while doing this, based on conflicting reports on how masturbation/ejaculating affects gains. I may try to do this only once a week with no other activity, but we'll see how urges play into it.

        Day 4 was rest

        Day 5:
10 minute heating pad warm up
        6 minute stretching
10-12 minutes Jelqing (didn't start the timer at exact beginning)
50 Kegels (tried Kegeling slightly harder and holding slightly longer than previous sessions)

Still playing with stretching grip. However, I found that if I concentrate on gripping with one hand then pulling my gripping hand with my free hand, I was able to feel a better stretch and hang on to the grip a little better. Not sure if this is going overboard at this beginning stage of PE. Also tried strecthing with a hand on top and a hand on bottom as I read in another post, but this was kind of awkward at this stage.

Tried concentrating on Jelqing technique based on a thread I started yesterday (https://www.pegym.com/forums/beginne...technique.html). I tried a mix of regular Jelqs and U-Jelqs. I also tried concentrating on feeling the head expand as I started the next stroke. I did feel that about 50% of the time (more so when I did a few U-Jelqs). That told me that I am still learning the technique in this beginning stage. I feel that I will get better with time. Did notice that it was a darker color closer to the head (and the head itself) compared to the bottom of the shaft, which is also the desired affect.

Flaccid hang immediately after session (during clean-up, pre Kegels) seemed to be *slightly* elongated, but I don't know if that was a 10-20% erection or from the session. I didn't feel like I was partially aroused, but I am trying to not take it as a positive sign because I am smart enough to not expect any results after 3 sessions!

Okay...off to the real gym now...

          Day 6 was rest.

          Day 7 (1/4/2012):

          15 minutes warm up
          10 minute stretching
          15 minutes jelqing
          50 kegels
warm down in shower while cleaning up

Feel like my stretching and jelqing technique is getting better. At various points throughout the day, I notice some turtling, but a simple tug seems to get rid of that. I don't know if this is good or bad. If someone can comment on this, that would be great. Most of the time, however, it's just hanging loose. I still think that is it a ***slightly*** longer flacid hang, but I may just be seeing what I want to see.

Today is a rest day. My original plan was to do these beginner exercises for 4 weeks then switch to JP90. I think I am going to just switch to JP90 tomorrow, but do 2-on-1-off for the first week, 3-on-1-off second week, etc until I get to maybe 5-and-2 after a couple weeks. Also, increasing reps according to JP90 schedule. If people think that's a bad idea, please let me know...

Today I finished my first week of switching to JP90. I did 5 days in a row and I will be taking tomorrow and the day after off. I definitely feel like the JP90 is a better workout than I've been doing, specifically the stretching part. I can definitely feel a good stretch during the slow, big circle stretching.

I've been at this for 2 weeks now, and I have yet to see any PI's, be they positive, negative, or neutral. The only thing that tells me that I just did a session is that my unit is a darker red and slightly puffed up, but not a whole lot. Maybe one or two days, the interior base of my unit is slightly sore. Not painful, not unbearable, but rather that feeling you get if you've had a marathon sex session with 3 or 4 rounds in one day (unfortunately it's been FAR too long since I've gotten to experience one round, let alone multiple!). I'm also starting to notice slight stretch marks at the base of the shaft, closest to the FP. I know when you get fat, you get stretch marks, when you start building muscle, you get stretch marks, so I'm hoping that getting stretch marks on my unit is a sign that I will eventually start gaining after a while. Also, vein's on the top, left, and right become more pronounced after a session, an artifact of all the blood flow I'm assuming. If anybody wants to chime in on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Haven't measured yet...trying to wait at least a month before measuring, so I've got about 2.5 - 3 weeks before a measurement. That would put me at one week of the beginner course and 2 or 3 weeks of JP90.
