Hey guys,
I have been thinking alot about how pics can look so different depending on angle, lighting, etc. Since they can also be altered easily and don't seem to be a reliable way to show progress, I was thinking why not make a cast of your penis. I have been studying how to make castings for about a year for other reasons and then one day I thought about casting my penis. Just think about it, you can make a casting when you start then at different intervals along the way. Then you can set them beside each other and the progress will be apparent. I know it is more time consuming and expensive compared to pics but it was just a thought. Actually the first time I thought about making a casting was so I could make my wife a dildo thats a clone of me. I know it may sound crazy, but I am still gonna try it. Just figured I would throw that one out there and see what you guys thought about it.

Pencildork is right. "Clone a Willie" is available at numerous places. If you look at the reviews, most people mess it up and end up having to buy it a second time. Also I have seen many people recommend buying the extra pack of material to go with it. It can get rather expensive if you have to buy all this material for a one time use. I believe they have a problem with it setting up too fast. Also the dildo material is not silicone so I didn't want to give my wife a sub-standard material. Since I planned on making other things as well as numerous casts of my penis, I was looking into buying material in bulk and therefore saving money. If the only reason for doing it is for progress purposes, it can be done cheaply. If you want to make a quality dildo with silicone, that's when it gets more expensive.

The material used to make the mold is called alginate. It is made from seaweed. The cast can be made from plaster, silicone sealer from a tube if it isn't going to be inserted anywhere, or with a good quality platinum cured silicone like I plan to use. The alginate can be ordered with different setting times. As far as staying hard, I planned on using a cock ring that wasn't too tight to help during the process.
