  • My Mighty Hanging Log.

    This is the start to my new log. I’ve been a member for a while now. I made some decent gains in my first attempt but for some reason I quit. I have decided to give hanging a try. I started July 22, 2013.
    Up to today’s date I have increase my sets slowly (5 sets a day 20mins each, 3 in the AM & 2 in the PM). My current hanging weight is 5.5 lbs. 10 mins of light jelqing at the end of my AM hanging session.
    August 1st stats:
    BPSFL: 19.0cm (7.48in)
    BPEL: 18.0cm (7.09in)
    EG: 13.0cm (5.12in)

    I did measure BPSFL today and it was 19.5cm. I will only update my stats on the first of each month. I will probably update my log at the end of each week.
    Hang time up to this date is 37 hours.

    Finished AM sets 3 sets @5.5lbs. 10min jelq afterwards. Will do 2 more sets in the evening, might have to do 5 lbs though.
    Added a photo to my album. Pic is a still of a video. I just wanted to see how my technique looked.
    I can tell that I have gained since July 22nd. Fighting the urge to measure BPEL though. Feels thicker and looks longer.

      Just about to start my evening hang of 2 sets (did 2 in the am). I realized that I have to drop back down to four sets a day for a bit, my guy wasn't reacting well to the extra set. I also tried 5.5 lbs and it was too much and left a little numbness. I will stay on 4 sets @ 5lbs for a couple days. I'm seeing great results at this point anyways.
      I also hit 19.5 BPSFL with ease today (slightly over 19.7 was the highest of my multiple attempts).

      Total Hang time: 40 hours.

        Glad to find your post! I am starting the same routine, well have been doing it for about a week and a half now. I am also starting at about the same stats as you. I am going to subscribe to your log and see how my gains are doing against yours if that is ok. Would like to see if we could help each other out. I am seeing similar gains as you. Here is my starting point:

        BPEL: 7.5"
        NBPEL: 7.2"
        EG: 5.5"

        BPFSL: 7.75"
        NBPFSL: 7.25"
        Non-BPFL: 5.2"
        FG: 4"

        Now 8 days later with stretching and wearing a Stealth all day long every day:

        BPEL: 8" - just under with an EQ of 9 or 10
        NBPEL: 7.5"
        EG: 5.5"

        BPFSL: 8" (when warm)
        NBPFSL: 7.375"
        Non-BPFL: 5.2"
        FG: 4"
        8/13: NBPEL: 7.2"/5.5", BPEL: 7.5" Goal: 8.5"/6.5"

          Hey whatabemegaman, I don't mind at all if we help each other out, motivate each other, and watch our gains. I was definitely looking for someone with a similar start date. I'll subscribe to your log if you have one. Impressive starting stats by the way, your starting stats are my first goal actually.

            Excellent. I have not started a log yet, just getting going with this. My first time. I will set one up by tomorrow. I need to track so I don't forget or loose my way!

              Day 32
              Doing my PM hanging sets right now. This is my 18th straight day with no days off. However I think I might skip my AM post hanging Jelq for tomorrow. 18 days of jelqing with no break seems like a lot and I feel like my guy is a little fatigued. Overall all everything went well today with my sets and feel no need to increase my weight yet.

              Total Hang time: 41.6 hours

              Additional lifestyle changes:
              Days without smoking: Quit date has been set for Sunday the 25th.
              Days without porn: 4 *trying to reboot but still going to PE

                Day 33
                2x20min sets @5lbs in the AM. 2x20min sets @5.5lbs in the PM. Did not do my usual 10 min jelq after AM set. Felt I was better of leaving my guy alone. 19 straight days with no day off. I can feel a nice stretch at 5.5lbs.

                Total hang time: 43 hours

                  Day 34
                  Well if there was ever a day to take a day off it is today. I posted a thread on my current numbness situation, click here. I hate the idea of breaking my 19 day streak of hanging but my body is calling for it, so I will listen. EQ has dropped significantly.

                  Update: Well although I said this would be a rest day I did do a couple of things.
                  1) I made .5, 1, & 1.5 pound weights that can be easily added or removed from my pulley system.
                  2) I adjusted the spacing on the bottom of my bib hanger and practiced putting it on. Seems like a better fit now.
                  3) I did 3 20min sets @ 4 lbs. (maybe I should have just rested but I wanted to maintain fatigue).
                  4) I've been warming up between sets like crazy

                    Day 35
                    Well I still feel a numbness and plan to take a break until things clear up. I've been doing some searching on dorsal nerve damage as this is the thing that makes the most sense. People have reported it taking weeks to months to recover. Some even years or never. However I did find a response from Bib on his website, "Gains that occur too quickly, more than a quarter inch per month, may also cause numbness." I have gained 0.7cm (0.275") in BPSFL from July 22 - August 21st (31 days). It was impossible to get a full erection, however, I was able to ejaculate, which I hope is a positive sign (no porn or fantasizing of course)
                    Either way I'm taking a break until feeling is completely back. I will only be doing kegel exercises until recovered. It's weird because there was no specific moment were I felt pain. I have made adjustments to the hanger for when I recover though.

                    Total Hangtime before this break: 44.6 hours (21 days since last day off)

                    Days without smoking: Unfortunately this is momentarily postponed.
                    Days without porn: 7

                    BPSFL before this break: 19.7cm(7.75) +0.7cm (0.275")

                      Day 36
                      Today has shown some improvement, sensation is coming back. Had a little bit of life this morning upon waking. I can feel it when I rub the glans but still not at 100%, but definitely an improvement over yesterday. This is torture. I have the day off work, my motivation is 10/10, yet I have to let my guy rest. All i've been doing is applying heat periodically throughout the day.

                      When I get fully healed up I'm not sure what direction to take. I was seeing phenomenal gains with hanging although I'm a little nervous about this happening again. If I do decide to continue hanging it will be at a lower weight (4 lbs was still enough to give me a fatigue sensation). I could also try a manual routine for a month and see where that takes me.

                      Quitting porn hasn't been a problem so far. Smoking on the other hand has proven to be very difficult with the whole numbness thing causing me stress. Today is my kegel day, at least I can work on that.

                        Day 41
                        Well I’m back from my recovery break. My pelvic floor ended up contracting and didn’t release for 2-3 days and ended up with a hard flaccid during that time. I ended up taking 1.5 hour baths and massaging my pelvic floor to release the tension. I finally felt better around 2 days ago, but took the last 2 days without even touching that area except to pee and clean.
                        I was hesitant to start any form of PE again. I have decided to give it another try however, less intense though. I will be starting BIBs guideline from the beginning.
                        Week 1
                        3 x 20min. sets @2.5lbs
                        Followed by 10 min jelq.

                        Routine completed today.

                          congrats on your porn sobriety. that's awesome. I am at about 2 weeks too. If I were you I wouldn't be concerned about the smoking too much at the moment and focus on the porn. What are you using for your hanging? (BiB, homemade, etc) After a long break from PE I started back after some conditioning with hanging. This is the start of my second week hanging with 5lbs. Did your numbness hit all of a sudden or did you get some signs? I am trying to be cautious but you know we all just want to hurry up and get some results. Keep at I man
