Additional Info. I jelq sitting down in an up or straight out direction. 60-70 erection level. Each stroke last about 3 sec. Decent pressure

    Welcome aboard ES248, we're glad you're here.

    How are your PIs?

This is how you can rate the effectiveness of your routine.

If you haven't done so yet I recommend you https://www.pegym.com/forums/beginne...cess-here.html

Pay special attention to the threads on safety and physiological indicators as they can help you navigate your PE journey without injury.

    Good Luck with your goals!

Confused on how 200 3 second jelqs takes 45 minutes. 200x3=600/60=10 minutes. As you are just starting you should eliminate the ulis, lack of gains could be overtraining. You may want to tinker with your 5/2 and maybe try a 2/1. Overtraining is just as bad as undertraining, both will result in no gains, scale back for a month and see what happens. Less really is more in the beginning.
      Start 12MAR'13

"Be nice to your penis, you should encourage it to grow, not force it to"
"Gains occur while balancing the fine line between undertraining and overtraining"
"Undertraining slows the gains, overtraining stops them"

sorry i meant 30min 200jelqs is 400strokes so 400x3=1200/60=20min and somtimes there longer i try each stroke a minimum of 3 sec

You should consider the first 3 months an investment in knowledge, not time wasted. You should be learning all about the various exercises particularly the proper technique. You should be learning how your penis reacts to PE, your PIs. Are you turtling or hanging loose between erections? Do you get morning wood? Has your EQ increased or decreased? etc. etc.

The biggest waste of time would be if you fail to learn and identify these things. You're not only conditioning your penis for more advanced exercises, you're training yourself in the proper technique and increasing your awareness of the general health of your penis. If you happen to gain during the conditioning phase, that's an added bonus.

Your PIs indicate if you're penis is being over-worked by your routine and your extracurricular activities. If you're having negative PI's then you need to decrease the stress on your penis. The first thing to go would be the most strenuous exercise, ulis. As TehD said, you are still rather new to be doing ulis.

So you've been doing the outlined routine above and gained nothing in 2 months. Not even newbie gains?. That alone would give me some reason to pause and rethink my PE exercise plan. Many if not the vast majority of guys on here all report some form of newbie gains. The results of improved eq to a previously sedentary penis. Since, apparently you did not gain in this area. Could it be because you your eq or erection quality is already pretty good ?. If this is the case, your gains may very well come a little bit later down the road.

As for the exercise routine you have included . My initial thoughts were too many on days and far too long in duration. I would caution against being overzealous starting into PE. The major pitfall is overtraining. Nothing sucks the air out of the balloon faster than putting in all that time and finding your unit has gone MIA on you. Start slowly with this gig ok. Listen and then learn from the artists and scientists that make up the PEGYM.

To miolner, is 200 jelqs alot? I mean the jp90 routine is like 150 wet ok jelqs and 90 v-jelqs, so that would be 140 jelqs alltogether.....lol im so confused but i am def going to take the 2on 1off day approach and keep an eye on my PI's

Good starting length and goal, I think you should start preparing for what us hard gainers are up to now...Start extending, 12 hrs a day, then 200 light jelqs..If you can do that you will probably reach your goal pretty soon..

The most important point with jelqs is not the actual number but duration of each stroke. A well performed jelq stroke should take approx. 4 or 5 seconds to complete. I find that the more your unit is conditioned the better the response while jelqing. So, lets look at 200 jelqs at say 4 secs = 800 secs = 13 to 14 mins in total. Anybody new to jelqing should stay within that range. Then adding a min each week to reach a goal of 20 mins to 30mins in total jelq time. I have had my best success within the 20-30 min time period.

For your own benefits steer clear of the school of thought that more is better with PE. Some guys, mostly new , create plans with hours and hours of work. Fine if that works them. I myself adhere to the theory that since the penis will and should get a lot of work after PE is done , then why push it to the point where it is exhausted all the time. When PI's are showing a tired overworked member, time to cutback and get in more rest time. I see that you now opt for a 2 on 1 off routine. Good move. More recovery time will help in your gains and stay motivated. Last thing regarding newbie gains. You will read many PEGYMers speak of unexpected gains so early on . It happened to me as well. I remember it so well . Two months into PE and see a .5 inch gain in length. All from just a basic jelq and stretch routine. Now I know increased EQ had a major role to play in those new found gains at the time. .......jelq safe ok !

To miolner again, so 1jelq is 1hand sliding from base to tip (stroke)? If so i've really been doing 400jelqs because I thought 1 stroke with each hand equaled 1jelq. Maybe that's the issue here. And My girth did seem to get thicker but measured today and still the same, but i swear it still feel thicker
