I also looked over the study and calculated that their average growth rate reported was around 1,625 hours per inch. During the past couple measurement periods, I've been growing at about half that pace (around 3,200 hours per inch). I think this is a combination of my being predisposed to difficulty with gains, my previous years of PE conditioning, and the inconsistency and injury breaks in my routine.

I didn't notice what you mentioned about study participants who started with smaller sizes making greater gains. Maybe the smaller guys had more motivation to be consistent with their routines? I think the impact of each hour is enhanced when they are concentrated rather than sporadic (which is why I keep track of the percentage of hours each day and week that I am extending). I've been hovering around a quarter of my time spent in the phallosan and I'd like to get closer to half the time to really see if I can promote growth.

I'll look forward to reading how your gains compare.

          • Ten hours today. It has been just short of 300 hours since my last measurement and I decided to take a preliminary bpfsl measurement to see if there's any sign of gains. Unfortunately, my bpfsl just barely seemed to reach the same 7.625" mark that I recorded at my last official measurement. I realize this measurement is a little fickle depending on the degree of flaccidity, temperature, position, etc. but I had hoped to see a discernible difference since my daily average time has been higher than during my last measurement interval. I've got just over 100 more hours to log before taking my next official measurement so hopefully I'll find better results then.

            Running tally: 1141
            Daily EHC: 10/24 = 41.7%
            Weekly EHC: 47/120 = 39.2%

                  • I was inspired by ta53ora's post in the phallosan support thread last night about his phallosan modifications (https://www.pegym.com/forums/penis-d...ml#post1048325) and I decided to try and build an attachment something like the new LG ADS where there is no bell or vacuum valve and the silicone sleeve just seals around what they call a "slug" at the tip of the glans and then rolls down over the glans and onto the shaft. I wanted mine to be able to connect to the phallosan tension clip. I used a travel-size mouthwash bottle with a neck that fits the tension clip, an eye bolt (for an extra place to connect a belt or weights), some nuts and washers, and clear epoxy to hold it all together. It looks promising, but I have to wait for the epoxy to set overnight before I can give it a try. I'll write up a post with a picture if it works.

Eight hours today. I'm finishing the week with an EHC of 39.3% for an average of 9.4 hours per day. 90 hours until my next official measurement.

                    • I'm eager to try my new ADS rig, but the epoxy is still tacky in some places this morning. While I wait, I had some thoughts about the respective merits of attachments with or without a bell. Obviously, the bell induces expansion of the glans during use. The bell might help enhance growth in the glans, but also promotes edema. Additionally, it's likely that the bell achieves a better hold on the glans and greater tension or weight could be applied. The ESL40 ADS for example cannot bear as much weight as the phallosan, LGH, vacextender/hanger, etc. My new ADS design will have a sleeve that extends lower on the shaft and a more sturdy point of attachment than the ESL40. I'll have to wait and see how proficient it is at staying on and accommodating the phallosan tension. The sans bell design should be less conspicuous for public use.

                      • Ok, my DIY ADS prototype was kind of a failure. It held the yellow zone phallosan tension alright, but I got a lot of swelling/edema around the tip of my glans where it made contact with the rig. I think it would be improved if this surface was more concave. I might try making another from a smaller bottle so that I could have the same 1" diameter but there would be more of a recess to insert the tip of my glans inside to distribute the tension down along the length of the sleeve. The problem is that the smaller bottles have narrower necks that won't hold the tension clip. I'll have to come up with something to put over the neck of the bottle.

                            • So after scrapping my first crack at a DIY ADS because it caused too much swelling on the tip of my glans where it made contact with the rig, I've built another model. This time, I used a smaller bottle so that the contact point would be more concave to protect the tip of my glans. This also meant that the neck of the bottle was now too narrow to fit the phallosan tension clip. To create a lip where the clip could attach, I sandwiched two small washers between two larger washers. I then used an eye bolt as a second point of attachment for a belt or weights and threaded on the washers, and the cut-off bottle with its lid, and filled the neck of the bottle with clear epoxy. The epoxy will have to set overnight so I'll report back tomorrow if this attempt was any more successful and if it's worthwhile I'll write up a post about it with a picture.
