  • Downpipe's Hanging Diary.

    Hi All

I hope to keep this Diary updated on a monthly basis – I keep a daily diary and will provide an overview of the month’s goings on.

My workout will center around the Bib Hanger. I have had the Bib Starter since 2012 but only this year got serious about using it after more or less playing with it on and off since purchase.

Getting wrapping and setting it up are paramount to success, otherwise things get sore fast and you

will potentially do more harm than good.

For me getting the loose skin pulled forward with a rearward attachment point away from the glans was the key to success.

    The journey thus far:

    August 2014:

Due to previous on and off with the Bib – I was comfortable with doing three sets of 15lb SD (Straight Down) per day and that’s how the month started.

I felt I had the wrapping and attachment process under control and could now focus on a better routine.

From the 15th I mixed it up a bit and started two 30 minute Jelq/Kegel sessions per day while doing this I dropped the weight for hanging to 6lb but doing 4 sets per day SD (Straight Down).

    End of Month Measure:

    BPEL: 153mm (6.02”)

    MEG: 130mm (5.12”)

    BEG: 140mm (5.51”)

    September 2014:

Started off the month the same as August ended IE: Two 30 minute Jelq/Kegel sessions per day but now my hanging sessions were ranging up to 10b for 4 sets per day SD (Straight Down).

On the 5th I decided I was now ready to tackle hanging BTC (Between the cheeks) I had done this a good 12 months prior at about 5 to 6lbs weight and went through a whole lot of skin stretch and its associated burning – so with much trepidation and at least a whole lot more experience under my belt BTC was given the green light.

At this time I was still doing the Jelqing/Kegels every day as well hanging light weight and didn’t seem to be over training.

Since I was used to 15lbs SD I started out at 7lbs BTC and this seemed to be OK.

My first 4 daily BTC Sets were: 7lb/6lb/6lb/5lb on the 5th

By month’s end I was hanging: 8lb/8lb/7lb/7lb on the 30th

I had accumulated 22 days of BTC Hanging.

Out of the month I missed 4 BTC Days but managed to cover all but one day with several 30 min Jelq/Kegel sessions.

    End of Month Measure:

    BPEL: 160mm (6.30”)

    MEG: 130mm (5.12”)

    BEG: 145mm (5.71”)

    Summary:
Since I didn’t get a good fix on my starting stats before August – I will assume they weren’t that much different prior to the August measurements.

Septembers results appear to have garnered a respectable 7mm on Erect length and 5mm on Base Girth.

I would expect an increase in base Girth with performing BTC as that’s the main focus point of the exercise.

I am certainly happy with what the Tape measure is telling me and its encouraging me to stay focused and dedicated to bigger and better things.

I will update in a month unless anyone would like a question answered in the mean time.

Slow and steady wins the race!

      Hi all

Life has a way of intervening when you least expect!
Did anybody get the number on that bus?
I didn’t get the number but I know the name –GLANDULAR FEVER!!!!
Three months of being so fatigued as to only eat and sleep.
Then I started a new job – I’m back to 12Hr shifts now.
My last Diary entry was October the 22nd 2014, I had managed to get
      up to 10lb BTC.

I’m starting back at 6lb BTC with a lot of skin stretch to iron out again.
My shift work is 4 shifts on and 4 days off so my new schedule will be:
3*20Min sets Morning & 3*20Min sets Evening – on days off.
2*20Min sets Evening or Morning (Depending on Shift) – on days on.

Which averages out to 10hrs of hanging in per week.

So far I have logged 3 days back into it this week and feel as dedicated as I
was before things went haywire late last year.

      Stay tuned!!!

Since starting back on the 13/02/2015 to the 16/02/2015 I have completed:

        22 * 20min Sets BTC.

18 of which have been at 6lbs and 4 at 7lbs.

10Min Jelq cool down after each 3 set batch.

Notes: Hmm was skin stretch EVER this bad before!!!!

That 4 month break must have put me back to square one -
even 6lbs gets challenging - especially while packing 6 sets in one day. But in order to fit in 10 hours a week its the only way forward on days off.

Just have to take things easy and FEEL my way forward. My immune system and hence repair rate may be still a little compromised at this time.

        Slow and steady!

Life has a way of taking up time.

Good to your now on the bus instead of getting hit by it. Best of luck, if you have any questions feel free to ask.

              Thanks Guys!!!

The last of my six sets for the day yesterday had to be dropped to five pounds - fatigue was starting to creep in and I only just managed to get the sixth set in at five pounds.

So this morning was just a light 10min Jelq session.

I will attempt some sets tonight - probably just go with five pounds per set at this point.

                Progress since restarting:

45*20min BTC Sets from the 13/02/2015 to 24/02/2015 inclusive.

                15Hrs in total.

I had to move back to 5lb sets as doing 6 per day at 6lb eventually fatigued me out.

Its going to take a few weeks to recondition before I can move the weight up.

I will commence monthly measurements at the start of each month beginning in March.

Going by general feel I think I am now ball-parking where I finished off last year.

My first day off work today - the prior 4 days I only did two sets per day.

Today being my first day off work I got my full quota of 6 sets in at 5lbs and they seemed to go without any fatigue.

Only managed two sets of 5lb last night at the completion of the second set I was fatigued with intense skin stretch.

Even with 5lb I have noticed the last week the usual cyclic internal then skin stretching going on but when the second set got half way through the skin burn wasn't going to let up and became more intense.

This was my signal to forgo the third set.

This morning I managed 3 sets of 5lb without issue - it pays to listen closely to what your best friend tells you!!!

Last few days only did 5 sets instead of six per day - partly due to fatigue and partly due to time.

I will attempt moving up to some 6lb sets in a week or so.

Back to work for 4 night shifts - plan is to do 2 sets per day for the next four days.

Will see about a measurement in the next day or two.

60*20min BTC Sets from the 13/02/2015 to 27/02/2015 inclusive.

                    20Hrs in total.

Since the last report I have moved to 6lb sets (on the 03/03/2015).
Since then I have clocked up 13*6lb sets.

Generally I have been doing 2*6lb sets in the morning and another 2*6lb sets in the afternoon.

This seems to concentrate on internal stretching and only gets to skin stretch toward the end of the second set.

I have not gotten around to a proper measurement as of yet - focus on routine is more important to me.

One thing that is rather obvious is flaccid hang - its ranging anywhere from 4.5 to 5 inches.
Which I am rather happy about as I am just as keen on flaccid length as erect length.

                      So far I have logged:

80*20min BTC Sets from the 13/02/2015 to 06/03/2015 inclusive.

                      26.66Hrs in total.

Since the last report I moved up to 7lb sets on the 10/03/2015
So far I have done 8*7lb sets (4 today) with no fatigue thus far.

7lbs has really started to work the internals. I will continue 7lbs for 4 more days doing
4 sets per day if that goes well then I will move to 8lbs.

                        So far I have logged:

96*20min BTC Sets from the 13/02/2015 to 12/03/2015 inclusive.

                        32Hrs in total.

After spending 6 days at 7lbs and the fact that I was heading back to work for 4 days and can only manage to do 2 sets on work days, I decided to move to 8lbs.

I started 8lbs on the 16/03/2015 and so far have done 3 sets.

Due to time I could only manage one set yesterday but got two in tonight.
I am proud of the fact that its been nearly 5 weeks since recommencing and I have not missed a single day of training.
Yesterday I pushed to get in at least one maintenance set at my new elevated weight which was a good intro.

At 8lbs weight I feel like the training wheels have been removed and the REAL heavy lifting has begun. The feel is like night and day. The internals are well and truly being engaged and worked out.

It may take two weeks at 8lbs - from memory it took me about 2.5 months to work up to 10lbs and I think I am on track to repeat that performance this time around.

                          So far I have logged:

111*20min BTC Sets from the 13/02/2015 to 17/03/2015 inclusive.

                          37Hrs in total.

Today is my 8th day swinging 8lbs - Its slow going!
I think it will take me 3 weeks all up to progress to 9lbs.
doing 5 or 6lbs was stretching skin, 7lbs was easy and like a transition.

With 8lbs I feel like I was at the start but now with the focus being on internal stretching.

There is also the extra clamping forces involved with the extra weight that both combine to give the internals a full blown workout that will take a few weeks to adapt too.

I'm a big fan of NOT trying to turn my mate into Rocky after round 15 and so far he's unscathed.

To my mind being battered and bruised will only slow you down in the long run.
I haven't missed a day yet and I value consistency over whacking weight on willy nilly.

At this stage I have decided to measure at the weight I was at with my last measurement late last year somewhere between 9 and 10lbs.

Progress is being made - But I consider the real stuff starts over and above 10lbs.

                            So far I have logged:

126*20min BTC Sets from the 13/02/2015 to 23/03/2015 inclusive.

                            42Hrs in total.

After two weeks of 8lbs I have now moved to 9lbs today and logged in 4 sets.

Strangely 9lbs is feeling somewhat like 7lbs did - it just feels easy whereas 8lbs was very difficult.

I only have one more 4 set day tomorrow and then its back to work so I may just up to 10lbs if tomorrow is as easy as today was. I can only do two sets a day on work days so maintaining 9lbs may be pointless.

10lbs is when things start to get a little more serious - you have to have the wrapping technique down pat by then as at that weight it wont stay put long otherwise.

I missed a day this week (first miss yet) due to work plus a social life same thing will happen next week.
I'm in for the long haul though!

I guess I will have to do a measure within the next few weeks as I am nearly up to where I stopped last year.

                              So far I have logged:

140*20min BTC Sets from the 13/02/2015 to 30/03/2015 inclusive.

                              46.66Hrs in total.
