  • TRYING it for MYSELF

    About me:
I'm a 23 year old university student. Caucasian, 6 foot.

I'm into eating fairly clean and getting my nutrition, I Exercise regularly: weights and cardio.
I don't smoke, and rarely Drink.

My background in PE is probably a total of 2 months on and off, which i didn't follow a strict routine, and pretty sure I made no progress.

    Current thoughts
    26/10/14
Started with inital irritation and slight pain at the right hand side at base of penis connecting onto the skin. Irritation is just underneath skin when jeqling.

First session also had low errection %, felt turtling afterwards and a slight pain at the irritation spot. Taking time off for 2 weeks, kegals and warming each day, monday-friday. Avoiding masturbation in the mean time too.

Still a bit skeptical: I'm a bit of skeptic about this stuff I will admit, I don't know if the whole thing is just a way to get more traffic to come to the website to sell products and affiliate products or this shit is actually legit. I did a lot of research online, i couldn't find any scientific or peer reviewed studies that supported these exercises, but I couldn't see any that denied it either. After browsing through 3rd party forums, there were many skeptics; however, there were some that seemed to be somewhat legit positive reviews. Additionally; I couldn't find any really good obvious photos of progress on this website..

    However,
Having said all this, I've a feeling that this stuff works after reading this forum for many hours, I really want it to work and I'm going to come in with a positive attitude and give it at least 120 days. I am not expecting miracles, I just want to see that it works.

After 4 months if I see no improvement, then i'll most likely discontinue.

    Starting Measurements
    26/10/14
    EQ: Decent
    BPEL: 6"-6.125"
    EG Base: 5.125"
    EG Mid: 5.25"
    EG Head: 4.375"-4.5"

    05/01/2015
    BPEL: 6.25"
    EG Base: 5.25"
    EG Mid: 5.5"
    EG Head: 4.5"

    Goals:
    1. Healthy penis and 100% injury free (as soon as i feel any pain i'm stopping)
    2. Keep it up for 3 months, and then measure.
    3. +1" Erect Girth especially around the head of penis, it's a little bit less girthy at that area. Also maybe some length, although i'm not too worried about length at this stage.

    Routine:
I'm not going to dive straight into such heavy volume as JP 90 day beginner routine, I will work my way up to that volume with weekly incriminates.

5 days on. 2 days off.

-I'm going to start on Monday and go through to Friday, weekend i'll have off.
-Only time i'm allowed to masturbate is on Friday evening after workout and Saturday.
-As for sex, going to try avoid having it through the week, but we'll see what happens with that and how much i'm able to stick to my guns. Maybe i'll try not ejaculating if i do have sex (i've heard it helps gains to re-frame from doing so)
-Using the lube suggested in JP90s begginer workout
-Warmup with a heat pack or Hot-water cloth for 10 minutes.
-Cooldown, Same as recommended in JP90 routine.

    Exercises
Stretches: I'll Start with one set off all the stretches in JPs, then increase the sets after 1 week in increments.
Jeqling: going to start with 25 Wet jeqls, and 15 Vjeqs, 2 sets. i'll increase in weekly increments.
ONLY IF I'M NOT FEELING INJURED. I'm a little bit paranoid about that part lol.
Note: I'm going to be doing all these exercises with very little force, even if it means losing blood to the head each jeql.

    Why post here?
I'm posting here as a legit person sitting home in their lounge room like anyone else reading this.
I want to be held accountable by people who are trying to achieve a same natured goal, i figured this was the best place to do it.

I'm going to go all out on this shit and doing it properly, no shortcuts, no excuses. If there's any little improvements i can make please feel free to advise me.

    to the Gym!

    Don't miss this thread!!

    Congrats on starting a log!

And if you haven't already done so, please https://www.pegym.com/forums/beginne...cess-here.html and focus on safety, you only have one penis, take good care of it.

Pay attention to your PIs, your penis is trying to tell you if you are over working, or you are in the growth zone, aim for positive PIs, and steer away from the negative ones.

Welcome to the gym, PB -

I applaud your approach and have to say you're not the only one who started this with some skepticism. If you give this those four months of steady dedicated work, I can say from experience you should see positive improvements.

However, I'd ask you to consider a couple of things. First, your initial work will be similar to a condition phase and though there should be tangible benefits, the actual solid goals you're looking for may take some time. Second, being safe and healthy should always be your ultimate goal but, putting yourself through some of this work may lead to fatigue and stress on your unit. Be aware that judging your Physiological Indicators and staying on the positive side is a good metric (rather than just the general concept of "pain"). I say that because some pain may mean need a rest is needed (as it would if you were beginning a heavy lifting routine) but, a full-stop may not be necessary. Check out this thread for more info: Physiologic Indicators (PIs) to Help Penis Growth!.

Good luck to you and I wish you the best on the way to your goals.

        Thanks for the replies.

@ATP, Yeah I see the volume i'm initially setting out to do is pretty low in comparison to the actual beginners routine. I'm hoping to increase the volume fairly quickly based of the psychological indicators that I get. Aiming to be doing the full volume after a couple of weeks, but we'll see

            Welcome PB. Great start!

Looks like you've definitely done your reading. The right attitude, patience, and all the necessary info and focus is right there. Well done!

Good game plan, and a clear path to reach your goals. IO think if you give it the time and dedication, you'll be pleased at the end of the 3 months.

            Good luck to you!

              Updated with measurements.

Might be worth me putting some extra kegels and reverse kegels in the routine every second day.

Okay so just had my first PE session. And i have to say i felt like it went pretty poorly.

I started with 10 minutes warming, all over, particularly near the base of my penis warming up the ligs.

I did JPs stretch, SUPER LIGHT grip and pull

Did about 10 wet jeqls with lube and felt a little bit of discomfort on one of my ligs at the right hand base of my penis. Even in the first few pulls it was there. it's very minor, but i can still feel something that's very very slight pain.

I tried some vjeqls and had the same result, possibly worse. Also i couldn't get 70% errect for more than 15 seconds at a time while doing these exercises, i was mostly flaccid.

I've also had this slight pain while having sex occasionally.

Before i started this i've probably been having sex 2 times a week and masturbating about 2 times a week. Last time was on saturday night.

                Questions.
                1. Do i need to take a break from masturbation and sex to heal some potential trauma that i might have at the base of my dick before i start PE?

                2. It was hard for my to get 70% errect while doing jeqls, i was pretty flaccid. Is this normal?

                3. How slippery should the lube be that i'm using? I felt like oil would be more slippery than the lube i was just using. should i find some better lube?

                  Hey PB,

If your grip is tight, it can cause irritation to the vas deferens (tubes to the testicles, they run close to the surface at the base of the shaft) Is there discomfort towards the testicles as well?

Also, a tight grip in general may cause discomfort. Pain isn't good, and the cause should be found and remedied before continuing on.

For the stretches, medium grip, under the glans about an inch, and a firm, but not hard pull. And you will want to up your jelqs some, but get that technique down to where it doesn't hurt first.

                  Yes, maintaining an erection, especially at first, is a common issue. Read this;
                  https://www.pegym.com/forums/beginne...n-updated.html

                  For the lube, people prefer different things. But here's some common ones, with pro's and con's;

I've also read good things about cocoa butter oil, which is not on the list.

I backed my grip to the point where the blood wasn't really moving up the shaft at all, but i think this was partly to do with the low erection %.

The sensation is mainly on the right side of the base, and goes down and right slightly. My testicals don't hurt, just a pulling sensation on the surface of the skin at the base.

The sensation was there immediately, indicating that it was probably the cause of something that i'm doing that's not related to PE, since i haven't been doing PE for 6 months.

Also the slight pain occurs occasionally in sex or masturbation, so that's a give away.
I'm think to see a GP ASAP, even though it's slight.

I just read both the articles, thanks for that. I think the errection I can definitely improve on when i'm more honry and less overworked from the weekend.

But the sensation/slight pain, i think maybe doctors recommendation?

Can't hurt to see a doctor, at least for peace of mind if nothing else.

Could just be tissue irritation. Hard to tell over the internet.

Rest, avoid anything that irritates it (try different positions for sex, and reducing masturbation), and check with a doc if you can.

Let us know how it goes PB.

You're welcome for the articles. They'll be good info when you're back at it.

Welcome to the Gym psychedelic_behavior! I am glad you are being careful and reading the information available. Keep a log to keep track of what is working and what isn't through your PI's. If you have some discomfort before your PE journey started please have it check by your GP before you really get going with PE, if there are any issues you do not want to aggravate them. If there isn't then get going, PE gym changed my husband and I lives and I can't tell you that in his case his lose the ED issues, gained size and best of all fantastic EQ. Good luck to you on your journey!

                          So i went to GP.
Verdict is there's no serious injury. Just a very slight strain most likely from masturbating or having sex.

Obviously didn't talk to him about PE, but he told me i didn't have to back off Masturbation or Sex, just do them in a safe way that doesn't jar the penis to one side (kind of obvious).

Anyway, i asked him if he recommended a break from sex and he said only if you really want to. Then said, it takes 2 weeks for that type of strain to heal, but it won't be a problem healing if you're not provoking it.

So i'm feeling that the low Errect % when jeqling has made it seem a little worse because of it stretching more when i jeql. Either way, i'm going to take a break tomorrow at the very least. I'm thinking of trying on Wednesday or thursday one of two jeqls with higher erection % just to see if there's still any irritation. Don't think i'll be doing a proper session, i just want to see where it's at.

Bottom line: the sensation isn't painful, it's just present, and i don't want to make it worse.

Good call PB. At least you know now.

Personally, I think any type of PE will irritate the issue, as it all pulls the tissue one way or another.

I would follow the doc's suggestion, and at least avoid anything that may aggravate the injury. Even if it means a break for a week or two. With the strain, you likely won't get in a good session anyway, and could risk making it worse, and having to take even longer off.

Better to start at a fully healed state. No worries PB, just a small setback. Plus, it will give you a bit more time for some reading.
