Well I finally decided to start a journal - I realised it's the most appropriate place to post about my experience with PE, vac hanging more specifically. Also I keep learning new things in PE and thought it would be a good place to share what I find. So I want to keep this as a PE Journal rather than a log.

So for starters I'll state my starting stats - The earliest measurement I have is BPEL 17.5 cm lying down in bed and the ruler perpendicular to the body. I've come to learn over the past year or so that BPEL measurement can be unreliable depending on the angle the ruler is, pointing downwards may cause an overestimate, hence the perpendicular measure. I also measure BPFSL to corroborate any gains.

For now I'll take 17.5cm as my starting BPEL even though I have been using a JES extender for 3 years before that but without any noticeable gain imo - then again I could never wear it longer than 2 hours because of the discomfort.

I currently stand at almost 20cm give or take a mm, after hanging for about a year. I'm was using a vacextender from autoextender which I turned into a hanger. I am currently using the new vachanger from the same manufacturer. I also own an lg hanger, BIB hanger, Phallosan Forte, size genetics extender and a bathmate. I'll give a review of those later as well as any tips I found useful.

I haven't set a fixed target for gains since I believe the journey will be the same anyway but also setting hard targets can have a scary drawback - failing to hit the targets might make some guys disappointed and give up. I have 'soft' targets of making progress within 3-6 months, and re-assess the situation if I'm not.

I hope this journal will be an opportunity to document and share my progress, mistakes, get feedback, start interesting PE debates (not fights!). I anticipate to post on a weekly frequency.

So a quick note about wrapping and vac hanging. I use fabric strapping tape to tape the glands for a good grip and while I advise caution with fabric strapping tapes, some will have strong adhesion which will make removing them quite uncomfortable. You ideally want one that is sticky but not too sticky.

But more importantly lately I have been trying to find new ways to reduce pressure on the head. I currently wrap the head with my foreskin pulled back. This technique pulls on the internals with almost zero skin pull but puts all the vacuum pressure on the head. As the weight gets heavier, the pressure becomes more uncomfortable and can cause blisters. I read DreamOn's and his suggestion to use a sillicone protector cap - unfortunately this did not work for me since I tried the PF protector cap and have a lot of foreskin - the whole thing slips and starts pulling on my skin instead. This could be due to the shallow depth of the hangers though - something I will test soon.

So back to the taping head method and hanging 11lbs. The two effective ways of reducing head discomfort is to wrap up with a decent tape, increasing thickness when necessary and the other way is to distribute pressure. If you're familiar with physics then there is a proportional relationship between pressure and surface area. In other words the larger the surface the pressure acts, on the less pressure you need to hold something together.

So how can you increase the surface area in a dome shape cylinder; the cylinder size is fixed and your head isn't meant to expand too much or you'll get blisters. Well remember you have a sillicone sleeve that rolls all along the penis. Someone along a perfect seal is created with the combination of skin and the sleeve, and pump away for reduced pressure (or vacuum as we wrongly call it). If the seal happens closer to the head, then the lesser the surface area the pressure can act on and therefore you will need a higher 'vacuum' to hold heavier weights.

What I found is that if you have a long sillicone sleeve, you can use a material that is porous to allow air to pass through and wrap below the head thus making a bridge; this connects the head and the wrapped part of your penis into one large region for the vacuum to take effect. Then your sillicone sleeve can unwrap itself and cover everything - note that your silicone sleeve must be longer than the wrap to cover and create a seal after the wrap or you won't get any vacuum at all, as it will leak.

I tried it and it works a charm - which material I use ? Tissue paper works wonders - cheap, lets air through, compressible and acts as a cushion. I use 3 flys to wrap around just below the taped head, don't let any skin through this bit. This pressure distribution technique can be seen in my hanging album. As I result I have no head discomfort.

Try it out and let me know if it works.

So another week of PE gone by. Still hanging at 2 x 1 hours SD split between morning and evening. So far I haven't seen any additional gains since I resumed hanging in early december. I expect in a couple of months I should see a mm or two of growth. I still feel sore after every session so that's a good sign.

Also I will try to aim for longer before I go heavier, possibly up to 4 hours total a day. More than that I can't afford. I've lined up some reading material about ligament stretching and creep, so I should get a better idea how to get a slow but steady growth.

Right this week I've scaled back the weights to 9 lbs and hung for 2 splits of 2 hours each. I'm thinking that there is more to the "longer rather than heavier" strategy than I initially thought.

Noticeable difference is that while I don't hit fatigue at the 1 hour mark as I usually do, by the time I reach 2 hours I'm essentially at the same fatigue level as before.

More reading on traction and hanging and I found 2 really good links; one about a review of traction studies out there on penile lengthening and the other are lecture slides about ligament creep, deformation...etc. Both must reads imo.

Key points: cyclical stress is an important factor in deformation. More time yields greater gains however with diminishing returns. Heat combined with cyclical stress can break limits in lengthening.

Right after not seeing any gains for 3 months, I am now starting a 3 month decon break. Over the past 6 months (3 months effectively) I gained about 1 cm. For now I will try to let the tunica and ligs soften up again before starting the next routine. Pretty hard when I have a routine already integrated into a daily lifestyle, not to mention the addictive property of PE itself.

Well it's been 7 weeks since my last pe workout - I've decided to give chem pe a shot to break my plateau. Been doing a lot of reading and finally started on DMSO for collagen softening. Also wearing the phallosan forte again about 8 hours a day on average.

Measured a small gain of 1mm since last month. Penis feels more elastic and pliable. PIs have actually deteriorated a bit but I believe, like in the past, it'll go back to normal once I take a break.

Phallosan forte condom sleeve ripped, currently using the silicone sleeve from lg hanger.

Noticed another 1mm gain this month, looks like the gains are slow but steady at 1mm per month. Currently at 20.5 cm, bundled stretches are working great and PIs are back to normal.
