  • Progress log of a skeptic (ForgottenOne)

Hello, I've been doing PE since 3/2/15 (that's in February).

    Initial stats (sort of)
    BPEL: 5 1/16" MEG: 4 3/16"

Current stats (assuming I didn't cock up the measuring somehow)
    BPEL: 6" MEG: 4 1/2" (As of 14/7/2016)

    Short-term goal

    BPEL: 7" MEG: 6"

    Long-term goal
Dunno. I'll see what it's like once I reach my short-term goal first.

Keep in mind that I when I first started measuring I wasn't as thorough as I am now. I don't do flaccid measurements anymore as I find that they can fluctuate due to things such as temperature and stress.

    Routine

Currently, I am using the Malehanger. Yeah, I know. I haven't had much success with avoiding blisters while vacuum hanging, so I've been doing it the other way for the past few months.

I update this thread from time to time, usually when there is a drastic change to the routine. Updates to the log will be seen in this post. Once I get to 6.5" I'll have an easier time of believing that it's possible to permanently change my penis. I'll probably switch over to metric in the future when it comes to measurements. I mentioned somewhere that I don't do measurements in the log, but I changed my mind. You just won't see them often.

You can see my LG Hanger log here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1dzbc3fA6IDtPf6TFdMG6bMa_lJhym95W

There is also a Malehanger log here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=196...dAkMNdGpOBs1FJ

    Any feedback is appreciated.

    Some history

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First, I followed the JP90 routine (5 days on, 2 days off) for about a month. This was around the time that I joined this site (3/2/15). Then decided to subscribe to meCoach. By that time, I worked up to a routine like this:

    10 minute warmup
    20 second helicopter shakes (4X)
Stretches to the sides, straight out or straight up while performing 25 kegels (4X)
10 circular stretches to the left and 10 to the right (4X)
Dry jelq - 150 reps with 2 jelqs with each hand being 1 rep
V jelq - 90 reps with 3 jelqs being 1 rep and every third jelq stretched to the left or right
    5 minute warmdown

Based on Big Al's advice, I switched to the Jelq-free Routine. An example of what a session (5/4/2015) looked like is this:
    • 7 minute warmup
    • The Squeeze - 29 reps with holds of 5 seconds each. Erection level at about 80%.
    • Side-To-Side Stretch - 520 reps.
    • 30 erect kegels - 5 second holds
    • Stop and Start - 20 minutes
    • 5 minute warmdown

I stopped using manual techniques after my subscription expired. That period lasted for about 3 months if memory serves me correctly. That's when I decided to commence hanging.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And here is some more history from somewhere in 2016:

I have been using the LG hanger and I've been at it since 18/8/2015. I follow up every hour-long hanging session with tension stretches for about 5 minutes. Then, if my John Thomas doesn't get all cheeky and make things "harder" for me, I pull it towards my butt while lying on my side. I do this for about 5 minutes. Afterwards, I roll my penis between my palms to address the potential of any discolouration. They call this the "Firegoat Roll". I also press my glans into my palm and roll it around in there. That seems to take care of the edema on the frenulum. I hang for 1 hour twice a day, six days a week. One the seventh day, I only hang for one session. This is supposed to be what they call a "light set".

I also do foreskin restoration. I've been at it since 23/09/2015. At the moment, I manually tug for about 10 minutes before I hang. Ideally, it should be every hour if possible, or just whenever I can catch a break in the bathroom. Unlike PE, manual techniques may be all I can use for the time being due to a serious lack of skin.

I used to use Bathmate everyday whenever possible. The hope was that it would also bring some inner skin growth along with girth gains. Just can't seem to make the time for it nowadays. I also think that I need to grow more skin using a different way to ensure that my scrotum doesn't get sucked in. I might return to it one day,
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Somewhere between August 2017 and October 2017

I used an air pump three days a week after the second hanging session. I played it safe with two sets of 15 minutes at a maximum pressure of 3Hg. I stopped air pumping as it got too messy and time-consuming with all the clean-up involved. I also had some privacy concerns.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some thoughts on vacuum hanging and PE in general (in no particular order)

*I used to think that people saying to go by 'feel' when doing PE was something of a cop-out, but not anymore as I can see the similarities between that and other forms of physical improvement such as strength training.

*Slippage while hanging is a big no-no and I suspect it was a big reason for the numerous blisters that occurred over the years. I used to let the sleeve hang on precariously to the point where my taped glans would be pretty far from the bottom of the chamber. Really, really bad. Nowadays, I immediately remove my penis, then I proceed to regain blood flow with some light shakes and jelqing, then I re-apply my girth band (or cock ring), re-wrap, re-enter the chamber, re-apply the sleeve, re-pump and then I put the weight on. It sucks, but it has to be done. On the days where the slippage is really shitty, it happens about 3 times and usually at about 20 minute intervals, strangely enough.

*These days, I take slippage as a sign of two major things:
    1. The penis still needs to adapt to the weight - Sometimes, it stretches out and gets really thin, ruining the seal between your skin and the sleeve. The tissue maturity just isn't there yet. If the previous weight didn't pose any problems and you stuck at it for ages, then it just means you have to suck it up until you get used to it.

    2. Something is wrong with your hanging setup, resulting in a shitty seal - I find this to be more annoying, as it means I have to figure out which component is at fault. It could be the hand pump, tubing, female coupler, chamber, silicone sleeve, girth band or even your damn pubic hair.

*I might have fixed my vacuum loss issues by applying some new sealing tape to the female coupler. I also squeeze the sleeve against my skin before I pump. Like I said, might.

*In regards to the sleeve, sometimes one has to face the fact that their girth is just rubbish. Persistent slippage despite having no problems with anything else might be an indicator that you need a sleeve with a smaller inner diameter, less than 1 inch if possible. This is what us smaller guys have to work with unfortunately.

    Congrats on starting a log!

Good luck on your PE journey, PE safely!

Thanks. Yes, safety is something that I pay very close attention to. If anything looks or feels funny, I know that it's best to stop and assess the routine.

Well, I am back after a one week break (and two sessions of PE). This is where I'm at right now:

        10 minute warmup
Uli #3 - 7 minutes. Erection level at about 90%.
        Tension Stretch - 12 reps
        16 Erect kegels - 5 second holds
Stop and Start - 5 minutes
        5 minute warmdown

Here is a link to my log since this forum can't accept Excel spreadsheets for some reason. Let me know what you think.

I have been using the LG Hanger ever since I returned from overseas and my meCoach subscription expired. I used the Jelq-free Routine for about 3 months.

Not much to say in terms of EQ. As always, my John Thomas points straight up.

Looks like you are hanging. And was that two 1hr sessions at 2kg? No more jelqs, stretches, edging? Your log mentions blister injuries but not BPSFL, flaccid hang or EQ at night/day. Last, measurements?

Which date are you referring to? There are a lot of sessions which involve even heavier weights.

              No more jelqs, stretches, edging?
No other exercises. After every session, I do an erection test for a few minutes.

Your log mentions blister injuries but not BPSFL, flaccid hang
I don't record measurements in that log and I only measure every once in a while. I don't see any noticeable gains so far, whether flaccid or erect.

              EQ at night/day
Like I said, "my John Thomas points straight up." I can't quite imagine my EQ being any better.

              Last, measurements?
If you're asking about starting stats, they're in the first post of this thread.

Okay, so my point was... have you seen any effect from your efforts. Either in flaccid hang (you said no) or in measurements since you started hanging (again, that appears no, right?).

So it would seem that your routine should be changed in some way. Did you notice any gains from manual routines earlier in the year, either flaccid or erect?

Nope. That is why I moved on to hanging. And it was after a considerable break, so I guess you could treat it as a decon one as well. If I made some measurable gains, I would have stated as such in this thread, trust me.

Got it. I will offer some suggestions, but I think mecoach will do a better job than me. So for each suggestion, try it for four weeks before adding another change.

                    - Add heat while stretching, or at least 20min before and 20min into it.

                    - Add edging, after hanging. 30-40min, but only 4 times/week. Try to reverse kegel to get extra expansion. Aim for high EQ, like surging veins high.

                    - Add jelqs, some 50% errect, some 80-90%. Start off with few reps and light grip. Keep the hanging if you have time but do it after jelqing.

                    - Try bundled stretches, before hanging. But go slow, like 1/4 turn per week or month and almost no tension at first. I though I was conditioned by years of PE, but I had a something strained with 30secs of a 1/4 turn!

                    - Try clamping. Look up Hydeaway's routine, 30min four times a day. Again go slow, this can be stressful on the unit.

I thought something seemed a bit funny about you giving advice on PE despite only being here for a few months. Those are some interesting suggestions there though. Is there any baseline number of reps you would recommend I begin with, keeping in mind that these are supplementary exercises and not the "main part" of the routine?

I've been doing PE for almost ten years. I wish I had started with PEGym's advice.

Try 40 reps and increase 1-3% per week, to be safe.

Wow, ten years. You must have made some substantial gains in that amount of time then.
