So this is a long overdue progress log. After some recommendations from the members of this forum I think it will be beneficial to keep a record. I am 24 years old (born 1991) with a good lean build.
I have been PE'ing since September 2013 with month long on-off periods. Here is the summary:
Septemper 2013 - June 2014
- Basic 10min jelqs, no warm ups, no stretches
- kegel intense routine, no reverse kegels. Held erect kegels for as long as 5min sometimes
- watched porn
- did not take proper measurements and did not properly read up about the PE exercises
- PI's were good though, I noticed a larger flaccid after/during this period and better EQ at times. I'm confident i did have some girth/length gains too.
- Negative PI's would be pre-e from overworked kegels and porn. At the time, i did not realize the importance of PI's so i didnt take these into account
June 2014 - January 2015: (rest)
- stopped PE because of a wrist injury
January 2015 - March 2015:
- continued PE and took more time to understand the exercises and risks involved; better understood PI's
- took proper measurements (BPEL 6 7/8, MEG 5 3/8, EQ 7-8, BPFSL: 6.75)
- began noticing the importance of morning/night wood. Never took these into account before and not sure how good these were in the past.
- Stopped watching porn, began edging
- Jumped into ULI's with 20 second holds (5-10 of them, sometimes going up to 20). i thought it was safe to do this because I jelq'd for a about 9 months before but didnt know i should recondition myself after my break.
- jelqs were more repetition based vs time based (focused more on qualify of jelq than before)
- began doing stretches too (JP90 routine)
Having jumped into ULI's and high rep jelqs too quickly, i injured myself:
- overworked my unit and EQ was lower
- I also noticed a slight skin discoloration on the bottom of shaft about 1cm big, this might be some kind of bruise.
- I also felt random throbs below the corona. pain level 1/10. happen randomly, usually when sitting down.
- I stupidly ignored the weak EQ, discoloration and the throbs and continued PE for a while after they happened which means the discoloration might stay longer now.. Once i realized my mistake, i took some time off PE
- another possibly injury is the CS just below the glans. when i graze my finger over the area, i feel a line or indent/gap before CS continues normally again. Not sure if this was always there. When i am 100% hard, i can't feel the indent so it fills up. My assumption is that this has always been like this and will fix with better EQ?
- my biggest lesson during this period was recognizing my PI's and how important EQ is.
March 2015 - late April 2015: (rest)
- took time off to recover
- no throbs felt, EQ good again, discoloration still present. Decided it was safe to continue PE
Late april 2015 - May 15 2015
- Started PE again by following the JP90 routine.
- experienced better EQ and higher angle of erection at times (from a 9 to a 10)
- EQ i'd say is a 10/10
- began fleshlight edging
- stopped PE again because i became paranoid about the scare of nerve damage from the throb feeling which came back (i suspect this is because i mistakenly did ULI's again at the start of this period before sticking to only JP90; got greedy). The throb is much less noticeable than before though and all other pi's are good.
- i realized that even the JP90 routine might be too intense for me so adjusting it to my needs.
May 15 to June 3 2015: (rest)
- Took 3 weeks off. Penis was 100% back to normal with no throb in about a week. the other two weeks were taken to make sure i fully heal.
- read up some more and realized that i may have been over working my kegels too. I mostly did these erect which has probably led me to finishing fast during sex with frequent IK's. I noticed that my flaccid kegels are weaker which is a sign i should start with flaccid first. Overworking kegels might have also caused me to improperly diagnose low EQ in the past
- a negative PI for some might be a positive for some. I need to find out what works for me. I think it is larger flaccid hangs Post PE and good EQ. Overworking kegels can happen very easy for me i think
- learned one reason for the throbs might be that my stretch grip is near the glans. Another could be the overworked kegels, or could be because of urethra getting conditioned... will try to fix this to see if it makes a difference
June 3 2015 to current:
- began doing warm-ups with rice sock vs water. i wish i had tried this out before; its simple and amazing
- added squats to my pelvic floor exercises
- my morning wood and EQ are both really good.
Current routine:
- adjusted the JP90 routine to 70 jelqs (2 sets of 35) and only do 2 20 second directional and rotational stretches with helicopter shakes in between. starting off slow and will add 5 reps biweekly depending on PI's
- daily reverse kegel routine (50 1 second, 10 5 second, 5 10 second, 3 20 second, 2 30 second, 1 1min) and flaccid kegels once a week(200 reps)
- fleshlight edging
Summary of PI's / injuries to pay more attention to (more detail above):
- low EQ (as a result of overworked kegels)
- PRE-E (as a result of overworked kegels)
- throb/burning feeling below glans (could be a result of erect kegel holds, stretch grip near glans, or urethra being conditioned)
- slight indent below glans on CS, feels like a line/gap (could have always been like this, noticed it goes away when 10/10 EQ).
- positive PI's : EQ, morning wood, larger flaccid hang
Goals:
- 8 BPEL
- 5.75 MEG
- increase glan size and upper girth
- EQ 10/10
- no more injuries!
