Hi there.
I started hanging at around the start of September this year. I've been very cautious, starting at 2.5lb and slowly working my way up, adding roughly around .5lb a week. I started and am still currently hanging straight down (SD).
This is in complete contrast from the extending I did over several months last year which I stopped this summer. I extended quite intensively and gained .75" BPEL and around 0.1" MSEG. In the three month break between finishing extending and starting hanging I lost 0.25" in length, leaving me to start hanging at 7" BPEL.
My pre-hanging stats were (29/08/15):
BPEL: 7"
MSEG: 5.6"
BEG: 5.4"
HFL: 4.5-75"
I will not be measuring and taking progress pictures every month as I did with my extending. Instead, all I am going to do is measure my HBPFSL and SBPFSL at the end of every month and I won't be taking or uploading pictures until the 6th month.
HBPFSL = Hanging Bone Pressed Flaccid Stretched Length. This is a measurement I do immediately after the 20 minute session. As soon as the set is over I release the weight and immediately pull my penis (whilst still in the vacuum dome) and measure bone pressed with a plastic ruler.
SBPFSL = Standard Bone Pressed Flaccid Stretched Length. This is a measurement I do to measure my standard BPFSL. I will only do this is I have not hanged for ATLEAST two hours, preferably more. I do 15 seconds of windmills in an attempt to maintain a consistent state of flaccidty and then measure bone pressed with a plastic ruler.
* I don't care if anyone thinks these measurements are irrelevant or stupid. It's what I'm doing to measure my progress and I'm just explaining what they mean to those who may be confused when they notice them in the monthly logs.
I will reserve the next 18 posts for my monthly progress logs so it is easier for everyone to keep track of it on the first and second pages. Reserving the next 18 months may be over-optimistic of me at only 3 months in but I'd rather reserve them now with the option to remove them later if I do not reach 18 months. I'm really enjoying hanging, more than extending, so I don't think I'd quit before 18 months unless I had no other choice.
I'm using a hanger and I'm using water as my weight. If anyone is interested in using water to hang:
1 UK Pint = 1.25lb or 0.5lb = 0.114 litres of water.
If you have any questions feel free to ask!
