hook up sites..what do you guys think about them?

I'm wondering because I did some stupid free trial for 2 bucks, ofcoarse they trick you and charge you 30 bucks for the following month. Anyways I messaged a girl on there 2 days ago, only sent a few quick messages and now I'm guoing to head over to her place for some fun. Guess I just have to hope I'm not walking into being a victim of theft, rape, or death...I'm in SF btw, a 20 year old in shape college guy, just got curious. Whatta yall think PEgym?

Hah, wow...well i didnt get jacked, raped, or killed...

The woman was not hot, pictures online must have been from 10 years ago..I still went in the house though, met her roomattes who offered some beer and some mixed drinks. Since its memorial day, they were having a bbq...so I just chilled, ate some free food and drank some beers for an hour. Not what I expected but turned out good in the end lol

A buddy of mine did Fling.com and liked it. He said he hooked up 5 or 6 times. He stopped becasue he started to feel "gross".

I think its gross, but I guess it's no worse than picking up a girl at the bar.

I used to use Facebook applications (Are you Interested primarily) to pick up girls. Hooked up with 2 or 3 and they were pretty fine

What is your intent with these sites? A relationship or simply a bootie call? If all you want is a booty call, just about any of them will do except eHarmony. If you want a relationship, you can try eHarmony, match.com, plentyoffish.com.............I did all of these websites and had some success but overall I hated all of it. Then again, I'm looking for the real deal and not a one night stand or a "hook up". I have a girlfriend now so I don't need any of these sites but before I met her, I used them trying to find Mrs. Right. I will admit, online dating seems to be the 21st century method of meeting someone, whether for straight up sex or an actual relationship.

I met my wife online, almost 9 years ago. BUT it wasn't on any of those dating sites. It was on an AOL chat room, back when that was the thing to do. I met a lot of people that way. Searching profiles and messaging woman, chatting in the chat rooms until there was a click.

Met 6 woman through all of that. Had a lot of good times, and hot times, but did really meet the ONE doing that.
