Hey RIB, I think going411by7 hit the nail on the head. If you and she don't see eye to eye on this issue, you're bound to have alot of trouble later on down the line. You were wise to break it off with her. She has a right to her religious beliefs just as you do. It's all well and good for her to want you to go to church with her and be part of it but if her beliefs and the way she worships don't suit your tastes, it's not going to work.
My ex wife is catholic and I'm lutheran. While our religions are similar, they're still very different. I can't tell you how I hated going to masses with her. I typically only went either at Christmas time or after our kids were born, they were baptized catholic so I of course had to go a few times and such and I just can't stand going.
