Quick Date Advice

Real quick dating advice here, simple yes or no. I want to take this girl out, and I want to take her ice skating. I figure that 1) it's an activity that's not hard and 2) you can talk/laugh/whatever while doing it. It's not like one of those romantic things in the movies though where its out on a small pond...it's at a large skating facility. Is that going to be bad? There will probably be kids and other people there.

Bad, or still a good idea? I'm pressed for time here, got a window of an hour to ask her.

Why not? Skate, have some hot chocolate, fall down and act silly, just be a kid. Why not!!!!

first date? thats perfect you want something that will take you both out of your comfort zones. that way you two can relate to each other as you will be the only familiar things there. If your really good tho and she sucks, youll have to be careful to keep her happy and comfortable. you dont want her to be concentrating on keeping up with you, your there to have fun and get to know eachother. the skating is just there. But yeah activites like this are the best way to go for first dates. Ive found woman also like guys who get them to try new things

still a great idea. i've used that one before - my boys made fun of me - but you get to hold her hand, she gets close cause its cold, very wholesome. great idea.

try her again. just cause she didnt want to go out tonight does not mean she wont tomorrow. think up another good one and try in two or three days.

if she bails again, use the three strikes rule.
