This is a very complicated subject. I tried typing up my point of view, but found it was rather long and was too situational.

I guess if I walked in on my girlfriend fucking another guy, I would turn around and walk out, probably with the guy's pants, and then once I was outside I would immediately phone one of the several people I know I could drown myself in sex with. I would probably spend the next couple years as an incredibly dirty slut.

But why? Maybe it would have been your fault. Maybe your girlfriend felt alone and ignored by you, so she looked for some tenderness and passion that you have not provided for her.

If someone cheats, it's most likely always the cheaters fault, not some bull excuse about being ignored or didn't feel passion, how about TALKING to your partner if you feel that way not going out a doing something so stupid like cheating. And if you tried talking then and it doesn't work then break up, that's still a better option than cheating.

Because I am not married, and I am still young. If I can't get to marriage without trouble, I don't want to know what will happen during marriage. If someone cheats on me once I am married, that is a different story and I would deal with it quite differently.

Also, I am not trying to justify my actions. I just know how I would react, and if my girlfriend cheated on me by having sex and I had to catch them in the act, I would break up with her. Plain and simple. If it was something other than sex, like an emotional affair or a kiss or a make out or something, that is a bit different, and I would address the situation differently. As for taking his pants? Because its pretty funny.

I understand the original post was meant for married couples though. I can see myself being much more involved during such a circumstance when married. I would want to fix it, if I could, and if I was emotionally able to handle it.
