  • Is my gf lying?

    Hey guys,

So my girlfriend and I have been dating quite a while. When we first started dating, she just recently broke up with her boyfriend. When we had sex, she came very quick and everything was good. We got into a discussion about penis size and she said that her ex was her biggest and that one time she told a friend she was afraid to have sex with him when she first saw it. Anyways, later on she tells me that I am actually her biggest and she just didn't want my ego boosted since she knows other girls have said I'm big (BPEL 7.0" and EG 5.25" I don't think I'm too large). She even did a makeshift measurement with her hand and said I was bigger, even just slightly, but did it really quick. So she keeps telling me that I really am her biggest and she just said he was bigger at first to keep my ego down. She even said if she never met him and had sex with me and her previous exes, she would have been afraid to have sex with me (her exes were really small). What do you guys think? Ladies, if you could chime in that would be great.

I know it shouldn't bother me but it really bugs me. Do you guys think she's lying to me?

Thanks for any replies and feedback.
    Start (Oct 12, 2013): BPEL: 7.0" , NBPEL: 6.5", EG 5.0", FL: 5.0" FG: 4.0"

    Current (Dec 1, 2013): BPEL: 7.50" EG: 5.26"

    Goal: BPEL: 8.0" EG: 6.0"

This will be interesting to find out a lady's point of view. Why do women talk to their boyfriends, or anybody for that matter, about penis size. This causes so much emotional damage! I mean, it gets to all men eventually, unless you are just HUGE. I think women need to keep their yaps shut about size! Sorry, but honestly, don't they see how much it hurts people?

I am going to quote toadstool on this...

" Here at the Gym, we get people who want to commit suicide because of having a small dick. Lots of guys won't go to that extreme, but they will really hound themselves about it. A couple of members come to mind. Everything could be going right, but they refuse to let themselves enjoy life because of their penis.
Other guys refuse to date women until they have the dick of their dreams. Other guys blame all of their relationship problems on their dick. Other guys think a big dick give people special powers, either over women or life in general. " -

I didn't want to make people mad by the previous post, but I honestly think that a lot of insecurity, and emotional problems arise from this. Here, at least, it is good to hear from women. To hear what they feel is important in a sexual relationship, and what size they prefer is a great deal of help. Its just the "He's bigger and better than you..." type of statements that causes problems.
I apologize for saying it the way I did, though.

To reply to your question regularjoe, if she loves you - and you love her, don't press the issue. In my experience, this just leads to more frustration, jealousy, and self doubt. It sounds like she really is into you, and she maybe trying to undo the damage she feels she has caused. I hope the best for you guys.

It doesn't matter if she is lying. It doesn't matter if she is bigger.
You said she came quick and everything is good. So she is enjoying the sex, you are enjoying the sex, everything is good.
        The rest doesn't matter.

Also my ex would say all sorts of shit to try and keep my ego in check.
I think if anything it made me become more egotistical to try and compensate.

Why in the world do you care if you're the biggest?

Do you think she's worrying right now if she has the biggest breasts you've ever touched, the firmest body you've ever held, or the loudest moaner you've ever laid?

Odds are that she is not one of these "-est". Yet somehow she is still able to function day to day, still able to enjoy sex with you, still working to make you feel important (read: feed a fragile ego with horse shit, if necessary, so the man doesn't become completely paralyzed with insecurity).

Regarding previous lovers, it is much better to "don't ask, don't tell." But now that she's told you, forget about it.

It really doesnt matter if your are or arent her biggest. I can't imagine a girl just offering up that info unless it really is true. But if you kept asking her and she realized there may be an insecurity she may very well have lied but it would have been with good intentions. Penis size just doesn't matter to anyone but yourself really. Me personally I would drop it and just concentrate on being a good BF. There really is no way to know short of finding all her ex's and measuring them! lol
I dealt with something simular and it was tough I let it really bother me and in the end I realized it just doesnt matter. I asked like a dumbass and found out she had had 1 longer and 1 with more girth. I am still a better lover and she could care less about these guys from her past. Just dont let it bother you man.

It may not have been a head game and that could be the cover lie for "I lied you are my biggest" which is another lie if that is the case. Either way if she is lying now I dont think it is with bad intentions and if the two of you get along great otherwise I'd drop the penis size subject and move on happily.

Silly guy, everyone knows the proper time and place to talk about a penis is during thanksgiving, while the whole family can participate. You know, sometime between salad and turkey.

                        Hey regularjoe,

The answer to this question will put you in what is called a double bind:

If we tell you that she is lying then you will be right and you will feel bad.
If we tell you that she is not lying you will be wrong about you concern and you will feel bad.

This question puts you in a lose-lose situation, so why bother asking us? I would suggest taking a moment instead to ask yourself the following questions:

                        1) What exactly is bothering me about this situation?

                        2) What would it mean for me and this relationship if I am the biggest she's ever had?

                        3) What would it mean for me and this relationship if I am not the biggest she's ever had?

                        4) What could I do today to make myself feel better about this situation?

                        5) What could my girlfriend do or say that would make me feel better?

                        6) Has she ever lied to me about other things? If not, would it make sense that she would lie to me about this?

By honestly answering the above questions, you will not only discover what is truly bothering you, you will have a better idea how to remedy it.

                        Good Luck.

I just don't see why you care. Then again I'm competitive in the sense I'd rather be the best at kissing or foreplay with a particular girl.

                            Ohh I know, I know!

                            1) What exactly is bothering me about this situation? My ego is bigger than my penis.

                            2) What would it mean for me and this relationship if I am the biggest she's ever had? Nothing, it would just satisfy my ego.

                            3) What would it mean for me and this relationship if I am not the biggest she's ever had? Nothing, it would just briefly hurt my ego.

                            4) What could I do today to make myself feel better about this situation. Gain some self-esteem.

                            5) What could my girlfriend do or say that would make me feel better? Nothing, in the longrun, I have to find a way to be confident with out constant approval.

                            6) Has she ever lied to me about other things? If not, would it make sense that she would lie to me about this? Once a woman decides she likes a guy she may feel a need to unsay certain things she said to act cool during the chasing period.. but she shouldn't have to. It's my responsibility to feel good about myself, not hers to make me feel good about myself.

                            That was easy, next thread!

                            Focus on the positive :D

I'm really curious, why do some men feel the need to be the biggest their lady has ever had? instead of learn to be or work on being the best she's ever had, by being a better man, better groomed, skilled in bed and outside of it, make her feel loved more, provide for her, you know the norm.
A real man never hurts a woman. The woman came out of a man’s rib, not from his feet to be walked on, and not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved. - Mrs. workin_4_it
