Dating a guy who looks better than you?

I'm trying to answer this but I lack the vocabulary. I know it has to do with genetics and socialization. It has to do with expectations and beliefs and symbols of status and gender roles and their desires.
Wrapping all of those concepts up into one easily digestible and short paragraph is beyond my abilities. Suffice it to say I will often see an average or even ugly looking guy dating girls who are much more attractive than they are. But I very rarely see the reverse.

I have had girls in my life that were eaten up by their own insecurities and it always ended ugly, like a nose diving plane. All of these type girl went on and on till the end of things that i was so much better looking or just better then them. In my experience a girl like that will try every dirty trick when things are done to bring you down to where she feels she is at and take from you your confidence just to sooth her own insecurities. I see many good looking women with men that are out of shape, sloppy or ill groomed compared to them and most of the time that guy is pushing a stroller...

This morning, as far as looks go, I started out just an average looking guy. But that has all changed! I kid you not! In just 3 hours I am now a fuckin' hot and sexy dude! It only took me 6 beers to see it!

I'm not the best looking guy but I'm tall, confident, have a good hip to shoulder ratio and display character in my life. I say don't judge. The dude is probably 10 times the man any guy talking about his appearance is... Probably why she allowed herself to get pregnant by him and why he's pushing the stroller. In my case, i'd be the dude who's overweight with an attractive well proportioned female (dated a model, and an aspiring model, who did actually become a model eventually)

there's a porn actor (male) who has a wife... in his case it's reverse, honestly.

I'm by no means judging but outward appearance is always our first impression. Also there are very few that will DNA test a good looking baby to see if its theirs... Nature dose note care if it hurts feeling or ruffles feathers...

Yes there is argument about the actual rate, with considerable vary study to study ,partly because of different methodology. In any case it is a particularly nasty form of fraud.
One suspects the provider would often be the victim and the good looking guy the bio father.
