Yes there is argument about the actual rate, with considerable vary study to study ,partly because of different methodology. In any case it is a particularly nasty form of fraud.
One suspects the provider would often be the victim and the good looking guy the bio father.

I'm not sure what you mean by fraud, peg. Victim? I really have no idea what you're talking about. I highly doubt that women are conniving succubi looking to victimize the poor provider-type of male.

The mating mind does a good job of illustrating why this sort of thing happens. He makes the claim that women are genetically predisposed to have affairs and are biologically wired to be more likely to orgasm with and be fertilized by the lover, rather than the long term partner.

My husband of 20+ years was better looking then me. My bf now is. Most of the time the men in my life are very good looking and very fit. More so than me.
I have no issue with it and I've never been dumped so clearly they don't have an issue with it.

This is quite simple, the guy who thinks he is raising his own child but is raising another mans is the victim of a fraud. A particularly nasty form of fraud at that.
Arguments re geneticly predisosed etc don't cut much ice with me , it's a poor excuse for immoral action.
