Well......I stole him away from my best friend at the time. She was always talking shit about him to me and saying how he was an ass. The first time I met him I wanted to kick his ass and had to be held back. After a little while, our mutual friends (who were dating each other) brought us to the same place and he started talking to me about what was really happening between them. I found out that he was really sweet and that she was lying to me.

We both kept it as just friends until we couldn't take it anymore. He called her up while I was at his house and broke up with her. After he hung up, I called her and told her we weren't friends anymore.

19 years later, we are still happily together and have been married for 12 years.
The funny thing is that last year, she sent me a friend request on Facebook. I declined.

We have found out that our families had connections before we were even born and that we even hung out with the same friends at the same time a year before we actually met.

I can definitely say that our souls were meant to be together.

At the time I did not know her marital status as it had been many many months since I had last seen her.

LOL Camaro.....it wasn't quite like that. More along the lines of that person's lies and manipulation is what ultimately brought us together, as we are both the type to believe what we see, and not just hear.

Well for the Mr and I is different we knew each other through mutual friends. His best bud was married to my best bud. We knew each other as acquaintances not as friends but our respective best buds were trying to get us hooked up (at the time I was living with the best buds couple while looking for my own place). They would invite the Mr over for dinner all the time or make arrangements to go to the movies, beach or something and then leave us because of some emergency with their kids and I am sad to say we did not really figure it out.
