Hello everybody. I'm in a very complicated relationship and I need your opinions. I'm a gay guy in a relationship with a straight girl. We've been together for 4 years now and we're currently engaged. I told her I was gay before we decided to get engaged and she totally accepted it. Now I no longer feel anything for her after I used to like her. She has a very hard-to-handle personality and she's extremely needy. She gets angry really easily and cares too much about every little detail. She needs lots of emotions and lots of care. I'm not very emotional by nature. I knew her a long time before we got into the relationship and we were best friends. We're both unhappy now. I want to break-up with her for her own good and mine. I want her to find someone else that will give her everything she wants and make her happy, and I will feel relieved somehow and maybe find a better relationship. The problem is she doesn't want to break up at all. She loves me madly. Yesterday I told her that I didn't feel anything anymore and that I'm afraid she will never satisfy my needs neither will I satisfy hers. I also told her that I want her to have a better life with someone else that will be more emotional and meet her needs. Her response was that she will not eat or drink or go to work till she dies. She also said that if I leave her i'll remain her fiance till forever and that she will never take my ring off until she dies. What should I do??

You have said your truth. It is time to go. She will have to learn to manage her emotions, and she will. Change can be hard, but this sounds like a must to me. You are correct when you say neither can provide what the other needs. You know the truth, just be strong enough to go now. Good luckALL THE WAY WITH GOOD OLE JAY!

Wow... You engaged both knowingly that you were gay...? I can not fully comprehend how that even happens. How did you know you were gay? Did or do you have a boyfriend? What made you engage to her eventho you knew you were gay? Did you think you were no longer gay? How do you feel about her responses about the ring and leaving her? I don't understand. So many questions. 0_o

You have to leave this abusive relationship ASAP. She's being emotionally manipulative in an attempt to get you to stay with her, even though she knows you are gay and things have not been working out. There's no question what you need to do. There's no possible room for doubt. No one in a relationship like the one you are in now is ever happy with it. You both deserve a shot at happiness. Sticking with her out of guilt isn't going to do her any favors. You simply must carry through and leave, regardless of her drama.
PS: the only thing I can think of that is possibly keeping you in this relationship is that you need a relationship with a girl for other than romantic purposes and worry about finding another one. If that is the case then you need to weigh which is more important, a cover story, or getting away from crazytown. The difference between a winner and loser is, I don't date losers.

It happened because I liked her and she loved me a long time before she even told me. I thought it would work out. I knew I was gay because I'm sexually attracted to guys. I'm not emotionally attracted to guys though. Does that make me bi? I feel very sad about her responses because something inside me is telling me not to leave although my mind is telling me to let go. I'm really confused.

Technically right now you are Bi-Sexual.
If you"re legit then pack your bags and pursue your gay life style.

Well damn bro, as everybody says you need to get out of the relationship. The longer you wait, the harder it's going to get. Whether you are gay or not and I kind of know, tho it's not the same situation my parents have been living together for years now without making eachother happy. And that in turn led to many many problems within our family. Anyways, I think you might be bi-sexual, which I can imagine, is probably the hardest of them all. But you need to get it sorted out because you make it even harder for you self if you keep switching from men to woman and visa versa. Considering you were already engaged I assume you are probably between the ages of 25 to 35. At that age it's already alot harder to find love for anyone because most people already did. At least I assume so since I haven't reached this age my self yet.
I think as I read now you are (at this point in your life) more gay than straight so maybe you wanna try focusing more on finding a boyfriend. Have you ever had any emotional feelings for men? Did you have sexual feelings for this girl at the time? Did you enjoy the sex with this girl? Maybe you just haven't opened up for an emotional bond with a man? I think an emotional bond is very importand in ANY kind of serious relationship. Have you ever had a relationship where you was both sexually AND emotionally atracted to the person?
I'm sorry to be a bit chaotic in my reply but it's 3:48 AM here so I'm about to go to sleep
