opening doors for girls

The question may sound a little dumb but I need an answer to it.

Alright guys I recently started a new relationship(first time in my life), I want to ask you a simple question then I will ask a big one in a later thread. This question is about opening doors for my lady.

When I was younger, I was already quite gentleman with ladies. I was opening doors for them, running near the road all the time etc.

Here comes the kinda dumb question :
The doors which we pull to open are no problem. I get close to door early pull, lady goes in, I go in, no problem. But for the doors that need pushing to open are devil. If I get close to door early , then I need to go inside and wait for lady to pass but it kinda defeats the whole purpose in my point of view. In the past I tried to open it when she was in front of me but I couldn't quite push it in a comfortable position, I couldn't really push it and I looked like a dumb.

Do you have any suggestions for this situation? Should I first go in and wait for my lady to pass while holding the door, as I'm doing now ?

Yup that is the way a gentleman does it. Open and hold the door. Also dont pinch her ass as she goes by until after she marries you. Ok that last part may not be in the guide book, but i pinch my wife once in a while, and we are still married so.... Be a gentleman like you are doing. IMO

I'm the same way. With the push doors, just get there first and open an hold for her, then just follow close as after she passes. Trust me man is she has any genuine feeling for you she will very much appreciate and understand what you did haha. Keep it up man.

I just look at the doors, flex ma pecs and they open all on their own. They know better than to mess with me... Punk ass doors.

No but seriously, if a door is push to open just push it open, walk in, turn around to face her as she walks through the door and then close it.

A'right. Then I will approach the door first regardless of whether it's push or pull.
If pull, I will let my girl go in first then I will go in. If it's push, I will push, go in and let my girl come in, then close. I took my answer dudes, thank you all.

Oh, I was planning to do it in the near future. I dont think a marriage is quite necessary for such naughty stuff.

If you're at a point in your relationship where pinching/squeezing her butt is something she considers acceptable every once in a while, try not to overdo it to where it gets annoying, maybe reserve it for situations where you know that she's already in a frisky mood.

I remember getting abuse for opening doors for women in the heyday of feminism . I stoped doing it for years .
