  • Defences.

    Good day,
I pose this thread to all the Moderators and Administrators:
This website is filled with precious information that all those who poses an Internet connection can access to, however, little to zero leave a contribution behind creating a deficit, which I believe, we must fight. To fight this I wonder if there is a mechanism that could close the website to all those who have not contributed to the website, and as the person posts more and more they could get more and more access the this diamond mine of information and of amazing people.
I seek solely to protect the information here from misuse and from abuse,

    Your humble servant,

    Everman.

LOL That's a crap idea! So for example for your first 10 posts you only learn about the rice sock. Post's 11-20 you find out about stretches....then when you reach post 1000 they finally tell you about Supra Slammers!

If that happened I'd just move over to Thunders or MOS

Information should always be free and easily accesible, that is how more knowledge is gained, that is also the fundamental concept of the internet

How would you feel if wikipedia was closed off, and you only gained access after creating a certain amount of articles?

There are ways of doing that, and it'll never happen. It would be completely stupid to limit people on what they can view on this website, especially stupid to force people to register to see content.

If you don't want something to be seen by the unregistered public, don't post it.

Thank you for your brutally, and somewhat rudely expressed, opinions.

          Everman.

          P.S.
I had only the good of the community at heart when I proposed this "crap idea!".

          Good day,

          Everman.

It's just the image of Fry from Futurama in his "can't tell if" pose.

You can stop the crushing right about now, it would not only be polite but also correct.

You seem to have an issue with people not doing their "fair share." First that thread demanding to know why you should help others if you don't have your questions answered, and now a thread suggesting limiting information to members that do not contribute.
