Help! I'm getting bombarded by subscription emails!

Since registering and doing my first introduction post I'm getting an email digest of my subscription every hour on the hour! In my general account settings I have chosen a weekly email by default. How can I stop these incessant emails without completely unsubscribing from a thread?

Hey A_Apples,

I'm guessing it was originally set up to notify you by email instantly, yes? That setting was "set" for all those subscriptions. So, what you will have to do is change them.

Go to Subscribed Threads (link should work, but it's accessible from the blue bar via My Account, right below it).

At the top of the list, is a tick box that selects them all on that page.

Check that, scroll to the bottom, and change the notification to whatever you like. You may have to do this for each page of subscriptions.

Thanks for the quick response, workin_4_it. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to solve me problem. I have all my subscriptions set to "weekly" and yet I still get one message per thread per hour. Any other suggestions?

If you would like I can try to delete all your subscriptions to see if it that helps.

Ugh, the hourly mails are back again! They started on Jan. 5 at 10pm. I'll try unsubscribing to see if that helps. Frustrating.

It seems that any time I subscribe to a thread I get emails hourly, no matter what I set it to. The only workaround is to unsubscribe completely, which is a bummer. Any other suggestions?
