Site Photo Issues - Albums not showing, posts, etc.

It happens here and there, try clearing your Cookies and closing your Browser; then log back in.

thanks guys ill try again. just figured how to turn notifications on just now.
but i clear my cookie browser and history everytime i logged off to no avail. ill check the links and hopefully can report back with good news.

Are you using a Work computer to access the Gym, or a proxy? Sometimes that happens when I am at work, for whatever reason.

nope personal macbook computer. and though i click to get notifications im still not getting them.
its annoying, because im posting in different threads, and cant even be kept up to date and i cant see photos. smh. i dont know. ive got to spend more time looking into the settings i guess.

I changed the .html to .jpg and then I got to see a photo... But I still get the small blank square if I click it on the site.
But this is good enough for me. Thanks for the tip mate, very helpful,

If the HTML->JPG extension change worked, try clicking on the link to the forum post attachment. The error message there has a log-in box in the middle of the page. After I used that log-in box, I could see attachments and photo albums.

yea that works if its a link to an album... i then have to copy the link and paste, and then change html... but if its an attachment in post, it wont let me. it's whatever. im annoyed with this shit smh. obviously its an issue if theres multiple threads on it. simple coding and fixing photos should be a given on a forum. especially with PE, where pics help explain alot of shit and mods etc.

Gettinlarge, I should have been more clear. the "HTML->JPG" doesn't work for attachments. I used the log-in on the middle of that page. Did you see a log-in there?

I suspect that there are two systems/servers and that one of their log-ins does not create a cookie sufficient for the other. Web development can be a bit of a moving target... not just desktop browsers anymore but tablets and phones, adobe's flash in a slow death spiral, etc.

This has been a problem for over a year and has never been fixed by admin

If it could be fixed, a programmer, not any of us admins would do it. The problem seems unique to users of Apple paraphernalia.
A few have found fixes/work arounds, however little gets shared by them.
Not seeing any of this with Windows/Android.

The thumbnails not displaying is known. You just click them to access the photo.

Members upload a photo file. PEGym stores it. (no guarantees as to the members picture file; its integrity, file structure, if it is even named properly.)

It becomes the duty of an operating system/browser/internal security settings, to receive the picture file and display it properly.
I repeat, not hearing Windows/Android users reporting difficulties.

If you can not see pictures, if you would state hardware/software OS/Browser, then some one may be better informed to suggest a remedy.

Simply posting 'I can't see the pictures' is not very helpful. The presumption that the problem is NIMBY, (not in my back yard) is not helpful either.

I have to concur with Dangler. To my understanding he has the greatest permission settings to make changes to the forum, but it doesn't include accessing the programming of the site.

If Dangler isn't able to effect the change, it's going to require tech work.

Hey Gents. I'm a fresh new user and I can't view any photos in other users albums. I only see black thumbnail squares.
Any pointers to resolve this?
