  • Overcoming ED after surgery to my Coccyx

Throughout my adolecent years up to about 2 years ago I was suffering form a large cyst on my tail bone(Coccyx).I had it for about 8 years with no treatment whatsoever because I was imbarassed and above all I hate being imbarassed so I suffered.I would lose a half a cup of blood a day outta this thing and the pain was indescribable.I finaly had had enough of the bullshit and swallowed my pride and went to the ER.The doctors were shocked when I told them how long Id rufused to come in and have it taken care of.The keloid scare tissue was exstensive,so bad was the scar tissue that when they went to lance it the scalple got stuck in it halfway through the cut. After this they told me I was going to need major surgery to remove all the scar tissue and the core.I went for the surgery which was a 2 hour operation. They dug out all the scar tissue from the top of my tailbone all the way down about a half inch away from my anus.It took 28 stiches to close the incision...I was not a happy camper. As the wound healed up which took about 2 months I began to realize something was wrong.I was having trouble getting an erection of any quality and I had lost sensitivity in the Glans.I freaked out.I was 24 years old and practicaly impotent.Over time my erections got better but not by much. Then I discovered this site and started reading about PE and especialy Pelvic Floor Excersises (KEGELS).Within 2 weeks of hardcore kegeling Iv seen a dramatic turn around in erection quality.I havent had erections like this since I was 15,lol.They dont stick straight out but straight up like a fuckin lightning rod.If anyone has developed ED after any kind of lower back surgery I highly recommend Kegel excersises.I cant promise the moon for everyone but its worked wonders for me.Check out some of my posts on Kegeling I describe the excersises that helped me the most.Good Luck Everyone.

This is a very encouraging story that offers hope to those who had developed ED from surgery.

Sometimes, mostly after I have sex...I dont know why and neither do the doctors.I think all the nerves in the pelvic region are all connected of something. The kegels are working great through, the comprise over half of my PE routine. Its getting to the point now if I put a finger on my tailbone and do a Kegel contraction I can feel the skin tighten up and pull forward.I think when they were chopping me up they removed some of the PC muscle that attaches to the Coccyx weakening my pelvic floor.I highly recommend Kegels for anyone who has had and similar surgery and side effects. But I do over 300 Kegel reps a day now so that might have something to do with my speedy recovery. Some people say its not good to overtrain but I consider it more "Shock Conditioning".At first the side effects of Kegels were a dull soreness and a hot feeling. But even when Kingpole told me to take some time off me being the thick headed harp that I am I just did it again but just lower reps,300 hundered or so rather than the 800 to 1000 reps I was doing.Iv only rested 1 day out of 2 weeks of Kegeling and Ill tell ya my dick is harder than algebra now. When I contract my pelvic floor muscles now I can feel real force.I cant stress these excersises importance enough. They've worked wonders for me thats for sure.

The penis is inervated by nervrs s1 - s3 (sacral nerves) perhaps the pelvic floor muscles are inervated by nerve ending in the coccyx. They are connected anyway. The only supplement on earth that has a hope of reparing nerves id Ginkgo Biloba. I take it for neuropathy a nervous conditon of the feet.

Try Methylcobalamin sublingual drops 1000Mcg for neuropathy. In high doses the've used it to treat ALS,MS,Diabetic neuropathy and a few other nasty conditions. In mega high doses (over 5 Mg) they've seen periferal nerve regeneration and regeneration of mialin sheaths(I think thats how its spelled) of nerves.Methylcobalamin is the fully active form of vitamin B-12 and is more active when it comes to neuro pathways.I was looking into it to see if it would help my epilepsy. The only downside to Methylcobalamin is it can mess up sleep sometimes because it has a tendency to compete with Meletonin.Do some research on it,it might help you better than Gingko.

What a wonderful recovery story, I & G!! You're an inspiration to us all. Yes, the kegels have done wonders for many of us. I had mild ED and with jelqing and kegeling, my erections came back to their eleven o'clock angle.
