Why is it embarrassing for a woman to be really REALLY wet?

Running across this more and more. I was just with a girl and she said she was embarrassed by how wet she got. My ex GF also got really embarrassed. The last time we were together it was everywhere. puddle on the bed, up her back, i was wet all the way to my chest and down to my knees.

Why is it embarrassing to be "really wet"?? I figured it's like a guy being really hard... I thought girls liked really hard winkies.

Just a guess (I'm a guy), firstly, it's messy, but secondly and probably more importantly, it means they're enjoying it a lot, which can be a little embarrassing, especially with their perceptions of our current culture where girls can be perceived as slutty, etc. I think it's more embarrassment than actual feelings of shame/worried that the guy thinks they're a slut, but that can be the underlying cause of the embarrassment.

Because girls are self-conscious about absolutely everything. My wife complains at least once a day that her eyebrows are too small. She's just afraid you will think it's gross. Tell her extreme wetness is a quality you look for in women and she may ease up a bit. Tell her she makes you feel like a man. Tell her she makes you feel like Noah, and your only regret is that she didn't give you enough warning to build an ark for the flood she provided... like a Goddess (wink wink).

you need to be extra wet if your bf is extra wide. i feel safer that way so i like to be. but i was embarrassed 3 days ago because my bf picked me up from the massage therapist and i was extra wet. it made me feel like i cheated on my bf

I sometimes feel like my penis gets girls really wet or....really dry. Either because i am pleasuring them a lot, or because i am hurting them., OR maybe because they don't enjoy me....

She needs to be more comfortable with her body and her sexuality, also more comfortable around you, trust you and trust you will not think badly of her becasue of it.

Sort of like when a guy is self conscious about something sexual, and being afraid his partner would think he's a freak or something.

Although women may talk to each other about sex; the one topic they rarely, if ever, discuss is the issue of wetness. It's unfortunate because if they did discuss it more often they would discover that excessive wetness is experienced by millions (yes, really) of women. And more importantly, that it is very normal.

For some, the embarrassment is for reasons similar to when a man displays his arousal with an erection when he would rather not. For others, it is as another poster stated, because women perceive the ability to become extremely aroused as dirty or naughty. And still for some women, they believe that men think that a wet vagina is a loose vagina and therefore oral, manual or penetrative sex will not be as enjoyable for him.

Really, the key to eliminating these concerns and false assumptions is education and awareness.

When a woman is really wet, even the biggest penises glide in and out with ease and you only feel mild tightness in the entrance muscle. I noticed this a few times... Always made me feel "small" even though I know I'm not. I now know that women like feeling a hard penis when they like the guy it's attached to. It just never computes to me how they would assume a guy doesn't like her wetness all over him when they're having sex... I love it. It's like a signal to me that she's really into it. orgasms come left and right, when they're like that so it's a good thing to me!

I grew up never being embarrassed by it. Then after reading on this site I became embarrassed by it knowing that you guys deep down don't want it that aroused. This site caused that problem for me.
To the point that I'll wear a tampon until I know we will be having sex. I pull it out and it's soaked but keeps some friction going on.
I even use the sheets in between the intercourse to dry up.
