Hey guys,

My girlfriend keeps telling me that I can make her come really easily...from both oral sex and penetration. During intercourse she rubs herself so I presume she is reaching a clitoral orgasm but at that im not sure if she is actually coming. I find it hard to believe I can make her come only from licking/rubbing her (without g-spot stimulation) and from say only the missionary position with her rubbing herself.

Basically my question is, what types of orgasm are there, and what are the differences between them? What does each type take to achieve it? What are the signs that she has actually climaxed?

Yes there are differences and women are not likely to orgasm from penetration alone. The fact that she enjoys you enough to give herself a hand to get that bit further and orgasm, in my opinion at least, should be taken as a positive sign. You've brought her to the point where she can very easily help herself get there, something I'm willing to bet she likes!

And what you state in the last few lines of your first paragraph sounds like saying "I'm going jerk off to an orgasm but without trying to touch any sensitive parts." Women are different ofcourse and I'll be the last person saying I know it all, but my GF gets of easy when I use my tongue, not so much when I use my fingers. When she's on top she can gaurantee herself an orgasm and in missionary (when excitement and horniness were just right and the stars align) I tend to get her off every now and then too. Many types of orgasms can be achieved in many ways, there's no rulebook that'll work on every woman. I can't help you any further in detail, but to me it seems you have a good thing going and you're worried about nothing.

Lol I remember when a researcher said all orgasms were clitoral and vaginal orgasms were a myth. Believe it or not it was accepted as true by most for some time. The g spot was regarded as a myth by all but a handful until recent times. The idea of women ejaculating (squirting) was regarded with gales of laughter by so called sexperts especially those with high qualifications.
Just enjoy ,forget the people that tell you it has to be done a certain way.

As others have already stated, there are various "hot spots" on a woman when either rubbed or applied pressure to will result in an orgasm for her. The clitoris is only one such spot albeit the most popular.

And while each woman will react differently when she climaxes, there are some physiological indicators that may be noticeable such as:

-an increase in the amount of vaginal fluids (she becomes increasingly wet)

- her vaginal muscles contract

- her skin changes colour due to increased blood flow
(often referred to as the "sex flush")

- just prior to climaxing her breathing becomes erratic - short and shallow

I am not sure why you have difficulty believing that she can orgasm from manual or oral stimulation of the clitoris. Remember that the sole purpose of a clitoris is for pleasure.
