This is not a randomly selected sample of women. This is a website that specializes in women's sexual issues and therefore self-selects its membership biasing in favor of highly sexual women.

Can you find some science, not random interviews with random women?

    • Ahh you mention sample bias . The queen of this is of course that doyen of international feminism Hite . You do know she is the basis of this theory?

      • Ok just went on goggle for a moment here is a view influenced by Hite that still says the 75% figure is incorrect .

Sex Question Friday: What Percentage Of Women Reach Orgasm From Intercourse Alone? ? Sex And Psychology

Go find the Swedish study that says 55% of women orgasm from penetration alone .

By the way I have no objection and in fact like other stuff in the sex act besides penetration . So there is no need for that to be only thing going on.

Not inclined to buy that.... people lie, there's self selection (women who don't orgasm from penetration feel embarrassed/inadequate because guys say all women should cum from piv), and there isn't a social desirability test being done on them (like marlowe crowne scale)

PS: If it's worth anything, stuart brody, who thinks natural PIV Vaginal orgasms are the best orgasms, and that any other form of sex or orgasm is inferior, in his study found that about half of the women could orgasm vaginally.

However, he said there was a correlation in those women that: They were more psychologically healthy and used less imature psych defense mechanisms, walked differently, and were taught at a young age that the vagina is the source of pleasure.

However, his methods have been called into question....

So, even the most biased Researcher on vaginal orgasms came up with about 50% give or take

I also want to add something more to this: I've heard from hung guys in whose experience the majority of women don't cum via PIV, from hung guys with whom every woman has cum, from average guys with whom every woman has cum, from average guys for whom the majority hasn't.

I also am aware that a near 80% of women have admitted to faking orgasms a lot. Not to mention, I know heard from size queens (who HAVEN'T cum from penetration), think the guys who claim to have women cum from piv are lying or have had good fakers.

Frankly? I don't know what the exact truth is.

But I definitely feel with the right size, foreplay, listening techniques and a lot patience/tries etc, a lot more women would be having vaginal orgasms from PiV (without clit stim). However the statistics are what they are, and with such a charged and controversial topic, it might be hard to locate the truth

In this case, given the agenda;s and they general poor science, do you think stats are worth much?

You are wasting so much time in this discussion.

                No one mentioned Hite.

The book I referenced summarizes THIRTY THREE separate double blind studies.

You have yet to introduce a SINGLE study to back up your argument, whatever that argument is (because you never actually state one).

You are misquoting your own reference. From the article you cite:
"55% of the women reported having reached orgasm during intercourse solely from penile movements at least once before."

AT LEAST ONCE is NOT the same as REGULARLY.

Oh well, I gave the example of Stuart Brody, who's "agenda" (not sure if you can call it that) is to promote vaginal orgasms. Even he found that about 50% came from penetration.
His methods from what I've seen aren't all that bad. He did a social desirability test on his sample, and disqualified those who'd be more likely to lie to appear better. His questions were quite detailed.

Like I said, if multiple sources with different "agendas" say that not everyone cums from PiV, then idk.

I've known some women who didn't cum from penetration for years, however one fine day, without much difference happening, they managed to cum with the same partner and kept cumming from PiV (by their own admission).

I think the stats are relatively sound. But haven't cum from PiV doesn't mean cannot cum from PiV.

Also, the difference is "consistently cumming from PiV" and "cum from PiV once in a while"

The science on this is very clear. Women increase their moaning at time of male orgasm during intercourse, and they do so in order to encourage the man to ejaculate:
Evidence to Suggest that Copulatory Vocalizations in Women Are Not a Reflexive Consequence of Orgasm - Springer
Why women moan during sex ? The Chart - CNN.com Blogs

Men who believe that women who moan for them during missionary intercourse are close to having an orgasm are as likely to be wrong as right.

Obviously women love intercourse. Nothing here suggests they do not. The question is what percentage will reach orgasm *regularly* with no clitoral stimulation and just from intercourse alone.

With the right lover, and with sufficient practice, most women can probably climax from intercourse alone. That I will grant. But look at some of the detailed reports by husbands on this site alone. They have to practice special techniques - often for months - to maximize the potential for, and intensity of, the woman's climax.

Most men are not such patient and attentive lovers, and therefore you have the statistics you have.

Then men and women too should practise .
Not at all Impressed with stats that stem from tainted sources ,which from what I have seen they tend to .
As stated previous "sexperts " in general have been and continue to be so wrong . Pre e is not cureable ,non surgical penis enlargement is a myth etc etc .

What is piv only anyway? It suggests no foreplay and nothing else going on ,do people even have sex like this .
I am not impressed with much of the "science " I have seen in this area as I repeatedly make clear .
Their moaning does not cause me to ejaculate yet they continue to do it for a prolonged time session after session .
So again does not match my experience.

You have done nothing except waste time on this. And the only article you quote doesn't back your thesis. It says at least 55% of women climaxed from intercourse at least once, NOT as you were trying to twist it that they were regularly climaxing from intercourse alone.
