I have mentioned this a few times over the years, but my Ultimate Warmup is quick, private and very effective. I use as firm of a grip as I can get and have never injured myself after first warming up like this.

Yoga warm-up prepares the body physically and mentally so it can adapt to the further changes going to occur in the body. Our body remains in a less active state, which needs to be transformed in order to perform the various exercises, and yoga poses are best to warm up yourself.
