I'm preferably asking for the input of those who use an infrared heat lamp/light for their warm ups/downs or entire PE sessions.
Question 1: Is a 125 watt by 120 volt infrared heat lamp powerful enough to warm up and penetrate the skin properly? I can opt for a 250 watt by 120 volt but the clamp light is giant, whereas the 125 watt one is a decent size.
Question 2: I've read that a ceramic clamp light is preferred for holding infrared lights, so as to not burn other fixtures like plastic. Would an aluminum clamp light work well for an infrared light, so as it might not burn it and cause a fire. The particular one I have in mind is fitted for a max of 125 watt which falls in line with the light I've thought about purchasing.
I've attached a pictures of the products in question. The light costs $9.42 and the aluminum heat lamp is $9.97. Should I proceed in buying these two products, I feel they're worth it, just would like a few opinions.
