JP's routine suggests taking the following supplements:
1 Super B complex.
1 Multi Vitamin & Minerals.
1 60 mg Zinc.
2 500mg L-Arginine capsule.
1 500 mg L-Lysine.
I'm not taking any yet. And I'm not going to without doing a little research on each of them first. Does anybody know why you should take each of these? I can't figure out why you should take the B complex pills if the multivitamin tablet already has them, the same for zinc. Why so much zinc? On the other hand I read that Arginine is produced by the body and is found in most foods too, so it shouldn't be nessesary to get them from somewhere else. I also read that an excess in Arginine will diminish your Lysine level, which your body does not produce by it's self, it also has an interesting list of undesirable side effects. I can understand taking the multivitamin & minerals tablets, I suppose these you should take even if you are not into exercising.
Does anybody here have a medical background as to give a solid answer? What about the dosage suggested above? What if you are already producing or consuming enough of some of these? Are these supplements intended to be taken without a medical prescription?
