So I visit the doctor twice a year. Once in January, again in July. Last January, I was dealing with what I now believe to be porn-induced ED. Since I was 18 at the time, and in fairly decent shape, he assumed it was nerves and didn't do anything to help me. July 2013, I had another visit, and told him I still couldn't keep erections. He ran blood tests, called a couple of days later and said everything came up clean. After that visit, I quit porn and saw great results. While not perfect, I was able to keep erections a lot longer than usual and even if I did lose it, it usually didn't take too much to get it back up. However, about late November, my erections began suffering again, but this time I knew it wasn't porn.
Today, January 5, I had another visit. Once again, I told him the deal. This time he ran some more tests and determined that I was B-12 deficient, and my Test levels were significantly lower than in July (I gained weight so maybe it's the estrogen). He said that I was still within normal range of testosterone, but for some reason, my B12 was low. When I got home, I immediately checked my multivitamin, and on the back, it claimed to have over 100% of the RDI for B-12. Hmmm, fishy. He recommends injections since my body readily excretes whatever I ingest. BTW, B-12 deficiency is linked with impotence.
Anybody else with this problem?
