I find bodybuilding.com a great resource for articles, exercise guides and the like. However the forums are not very helpful in my opinion.

Yeah I read stuff on there sometimes. I'm really just trying to make myself focus on running right now. My diet is fine. But yeah this inch fat pad really blows because I read that 6.8 Bpel is way above average but 5.9 nbpel feels small to me. I'd be happy to reduce it half an inch then I'd be around 6.4 nbpel which would look so much longer.Started at: 6.9 Bpfsl
Currently at: 7.25 Bpfsl / 6.875 Bpel / 4.6 MG
Goal: 7.5 Bpel / 7.0 Nbpel / 5.5 MG

Good luck on your running and all, but have you ever examined why it feels small to you? Where does the idea come from that it should look bigger?Originally posted by WantABiggerPenis View Post5.9 nbpel feels small to me.
I'm asking because I see this a lot. People grow theirs to 8" and beyond, and they still have the same "doesnt look big, better get more" thing going. And when girls tell them it's plenty big, they dismiss it as pillow talk or white lies and keep at it even harder...
It's their thing, of course, but it seems to me like there's always gonna be bigger objects in the world than my willy - the Eiffel tower, for one - and that the actual use of the wand is a much more objective and fun feeling than gauging how it looks.-- If it ain't rock hard, then it ain't worth doing

Read what PE_Believer, Hamertime, and BigO said.
In order of efficacy (IMO):
1) HIIT will shred fat quickly (sprint/jog intervals, burpees, high knees, etc... basically any exercise you can do intensely for a short interval and then rest for 30 seconds or so). It is so effective because it not only burns loads of fat during exercise, but it also raises your BMR (resting metabolic rate), which allows you to burn more calories throughout the day.
2) Weightlifting is also key. Specifically focus on exercises targeting the lower abs and pelvic region (i.e. leg lifts, bicycles, crunch w/ medicine ball, etc...).
[Oh, and by weightlifting, I mean lifting of any sort. I do almost all body-weight exercises as I find those more fun and effective, so that would count as my form of weightlifting.]
4) Running is great, and I do it nearly everyday, but you've got to mix in variety. I combine the first two in my regimen which helps, but I also run hills, varying distances and speeds (e.g. short/fast pace or long/med pace), and of course different locations and surfaces (trail, pavement, track). This keeps my body constantly adapting to the variations and is a much better workout than just running 2 miles on a treadmill at constant speed everyday like the majority of people.
*) Swimming. This may be the most effective on the list for targeting fat, especially around your pelvic region. When I used to swim a lot years ago, I would become very lean. I think that if you replaced your running with swimming you'd be much better off. [I would've rated it, but I don't have enough experience to really speak for its effectiveness]
