Hey for people who are suffering from pelvic pain and hard flaccid, visit freedomfrompelvicpain DOT com David McCoid had excruciating symptoms for 14 year had pudendal nerve surgeries, and did internal trigger point among other things. He now has created a program with a man named Nic Bartolatta. They have created a program that treats all types of pelvic floor dysfunction. If you contact him, he will Skype with you for a free consultation and speak about his path and his recovery. Worth a shot. Also I saw another guy on here right something about reading positive books about overcoming these kinds of things, illness, mental and otherwise. One is called The Obstacle is the Way by Ryan Holiday. You can get better. I am working this new program. Just started. Hoping to see some changes. Its a 6 week program and it is not easy. But nothing that will fix this will be. Work hard. Don't give up.

Zeroing in on the cause of one's issues is most important. If the cause is primarily mental or unrelated to the treatment being applied then the resultant frustration at not getting better will merely add to the problem.Originally posted by Xams2387 View PostHow did it go Jonny?
Do people still recommend TRE, Big Al?
Last I heard, Stevieee and VoodooChild got better with that and Stevieeee told me Obitoo got over 100 emails saying TRE and the mental approach cured them.Want a FREE Month of Coaching? PM or email me for details- or CLICK HERE

That can be the difficult part. Attempting to mitigate what you can on your end (esp. anxiety) can go a long way towards eliminating causes. A very qualified therapist can be very valuable if you can't narrow any physical causes on your own.Originally posted by Xams2387 View PostHow would you determine the cause?
Mine happened while working out but I've done more than 2.5 years of PT without a ton of resultsWant a FREE Month of Coaching? PM or email me for details- or CLICK HERE

I was under the impression it was mental for basically everyone.
Stevieeee ended up relapsing with RE once he stopped for a few weeks and then after a couple months of TRE he got better and has been fine ever since.
Voodoo was big on TRE and when I spoke with him he said it's basically mental.
So does Obitoo.
So are there people now saying it needs a physical treatment as opposed to mental?
I have a counselor actually, just started a couple weeks ago and I've done TRE and yoga nidra for 3.5 weeks or so and it hasn't changed a ton but I feel less stressed definitely.

Hard flaccid is a symptom. It can have direct "physical" causes- stimulant use and PF strain (specifically the "IC" muscles) have been considered strong culprits.Originally posted by Xams2387 View PostI was under the impression it was mental for basically everyone.

Okay so I thought it was agreed upon that pelvic floor strain/tightness was a mental cause. Sure there could be a final big trigger but I thought it had been accepted now that at its root, it's a psychological issue.Originally posted by Big Al View PostHard flaccid is a symptom. How many people have gotten better through physical means vs psychological?
I thought it was almost all psychological.
By the way I don't mean to sound argumentative, I'm just lookin for the info.

Science doesn't operate on a consensus basis- something is either factual or it isn'tOriginally posted by Xams2387 View PostOkay so I thought it was agreed upon that pelvic floor strain/tightness was a mental cause. The IC muscle issue is difficult to isolate and resolve- as this particular muscle can stay strained for very long periods.
ANY HF issue, ED and premature ejaculation can be compounded with anxiety. Often the problems remain long after any physical anomalies have dissipated.Want a FREE Month of Coaching? PM or email me for details- or CLICK HERE

I have decided to edit this thread to be more focused on PF dysfunctions and CPPS and not hard flaccid cases as I will only discuss hard flaccid in The HANS ProtocolHansTwilightLast edited by HansTwilight; 11-03-2017, 11:38 PM.My WorkARTICLES:

It’s been a while, but what I’m getting is that you need to address the mental aspect enough (hard to tell when it’s enough) AND address the physical aspect enough.Originally posted by Big Al View PostScience doesn't operate on a consensus basis- something is either factual or it isn't

Basically, once you have a certain amount of range of motion and strength in the glutes then the only thing left to fix would be mental I imagine?
Am I getting this right?
Is there a certain amount of hamstring flexibility for example, that you’d need to know that you’d good enough there?
Or maybe once you have a balanced pelvis, you know the rest is mental.
