Sorry, I mean, now that you have HF do you feel that your PC muscle is weaker when doing Kegels than before you had HF and was doing Kegels?

So basically has HF affected your PC muscle in a way that your PC muscle feels as if it struggles to perform, let's say, 50 Kegels?

oh yes yes i believe thatd be due to not trying for erections at all anymore really. but possibly mayve its also because of damage of some sort

        • Do you guys think I should start with PE again?
I have no symptoms other than a firm flaccid penis.

This really depends on the severity and the risk you want to take. How long have you had HF? Is it consistent throughout the day or does it randomly happen? Do you know what caused your HF?

If you really want to get back into it start light, lets say maybe 2-3 kegel sessions a week. If you see improvement great! At this point you should probably revisit the beginners forum. If you see no improvement continue 2-3x a week or maybe add additional LIGHT workouts. If you appear to get worse, you really need to give yourself extra time to heal.

            • Ok,
so I have had a bit of a breakthrough of sorts today. The specialist I am seeing spent a long time today on conference calls with 5 other specialists and a neurosurgeon deciding on what specific tests they want done. They all were very very interested when I relayed the message to my specialist that a website has been made and that this is not just an isolated event. They asked me to please type up all information I have so far about any discoveries we have made, and they also are very interested in visiting the website so I am relaying that on as well.

So, I am asking you all to either post on here or message me if you have had any test performed and what the results were. This is really important I am about to undergo any and all tests I can think of, the specialist just wants to know what we have already performed so that there is no unnecessary work performed. So again, please send me the information on any and all tests you have had done so that I can compile it and send it along with the website URL. Also, any suggestions of tests you think would be beneficial please send them because I will definitely perform them. So far I am on schedule for a standing doppler, a standing MRI, and a standing doppler saline injection blood flow monitor. All my test results will be sent to his ring of doctors, some of which considered the best there is, and they are all going to examine them and discuss it to try to figure this thing out.
Feel free to send me absolutely anything you think is beneficial. I have to send them the information by around noon tomorrow so please get with me as soon as possible. I have found the doctor who truly cares and recognizes a problem and i think with the website and a group effort we have finally reached out to the right person.

I would recommend not doing any type of PE to you see improvement. Try taking a hot bath for 30mins. Just relax and massage your taint and right beneath your scrotum slowly ( I'm just trying to help ). Try not to move around. Just lay back and relax.

Report here and let me know if your HF went away during the bath. Don't be discourage if it comes back when you get out of the bath.

This is when I experienced "normality". Although, today has been better than past days.

This thread has a ton of info. You can also pull stuff out of other parts of the forum that may be useful for recovery. Let us know the results. I am happy you found someone who is willing to work with you and not making assumptions or telling you nothing is wrong, that is awesome.

I am glad to be part of this whole HF thing, even though it is sometimes physically/emotionally painful.

                    • You have GOT to include showing them that GIANT hard flaccid thread on medhelp. Thwse guys must know that even though most of us got this suddenly through an injury, that some people got it from ecstacy use or mdma use. However, these individuals seem to get relief with alpha blockers or ibuprofen and there is a theory on a sexual exhaustion forum that high e2 levels are a cause of an inflammation causing the hard flaccid (this of course, again, goes for those who have gotten the HF through drug use. Time for everyone here to compile as much information as freaking possible across the net.

I order everyone here to have some information each within the next few days. Dont forget that just because someone has great news, that you all can sit back and relax. GROUP effort

Don't have a bathtub. Don't got enough hot water for a 30min shower either :/
I don't have any side effects other than the penis being firm though. Have no problems getting erections or pain when ejaculating.

ok well first thing is first. You SEE how damaging phsychologically this is to all of us, so I ask, why are you continuing masturbating? You may be in a time window and may not have done enough damage yet for it to be long term like us. So, get your hand away from your dick and use hot wraps, ginkgo, and l arginine. Or else my friend, you are looking forward to one HELL of a ride you dont want to take.

Now, for keepingfaith's sake and everyone else, lemme go over the main symptoms we all share

-Especially bad following excercise and sometimes after excercise, even light, it won't seem to subside at all even laying down.
-hard flaccid gets worse standing up
                          -prominent, dead looking veins
-loss of erect size and strength
-near impossible to hold erection standing, or if you can it is much smaller than it should be
-certain positions like laying down or reclined in a chair relieve it to a more normal state
                          - when the penis DOES relax a bit, it is much skinner than it should be and especially looks like CS had no blood at all
                          - head of penis is cold
-flexibility is next to nothing and can even be slightly painful to bend
-I get red dots on my head after ejaculation and for days after ejaculation
-if we have nocturnal emmisions (which means we didnt even touch it or stroke it), we still experience hard flaccid symptoms to an even worse extent for the next few days. Even a week
-erections seem overly hard and rubbery
-glans dont fil out as much as they used to or even at ALL
-some of us have a "dent" in some places (will have to figure out what those places are again by looking thru thread)
-no spontaneos erections and loss of morning wood
-I have developed a curve when flaccid and as erections fill out the curve to the right still presents itself. Yet I got an ultrasound and everything to check for plaque as if it was peyronies disease but nothing found. Peyronies causes scar tissue to hinder blood flow causing one chamber to fill more than the other causing a bend or curve. I feel that either there is slight scar tissue there, or some tissue has DIED causing the lack of engorgement
-some guys get the hourglass shape along with this. I get it. ESPECIALLY bad days after ejaculation. base 4 inches girth, mid 3 inches, under glans 4 inches. Just IMAGINE what that looks like, an awful deformity
-dull pain usually at the base on the left side at the base

please tell me if im missing anything as I feel that I AM

                          Comment

                          • I was just outside walking around for a bit (chilly out).... came back inside to take a piss - my dick became really relaxed (nice hung flaccid).... bit it was slightly "hourglassed" towards the center. This has happened on a few occasions, especially after returning from the cold. And then it immediately fills back out and goes away. WTF?

                              another great post!

I noticed the hourglass shaped penis just now in the bath. HF went away my penis was reacting to my taint massages, which got me semi-erect. However, when I held my penis up from the base, the center of my shaft was not erect, but the rest of the shaft was. It was definitely flopping over. Yet it made me laugh.

All these symptoms are new to me. I am learning as I go. Unfortunately, I can't spend 24hrs looking at my penis updating. Although, I feel this would be helpful to myself and everyone else who is experiencing it.

                              • Hey Folks,

Just a quick update as I don't have a whole lot of useful news to share at the moment. I had an appointment this week with a urologist who is also a tissue/microsurgeon/Peyronie's specialist.

He seemed to feel pretty strongly that a combination of adrenaline and muscle contraction were causing this to occur and prescribed me Uroxatral, an alpha blocker. I haven't started taking them yet. He did say that he had seen hard flaccid before, and referred to it as "contracted penis", and that it was a common symptom of Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome.

He didn't have an answer on how it would come about literally in an instant though, and had no information on why the veins have changed so much. He didn't have much to say at all regarding my ultrasound findings which revealed no blood flow when standing up.

On the plus side, he checked the elasticity and tissue and said it all looked great.

He was far more concerned with my low Testosterone levels and ordered a retest on those with a follow up in a month.

I have another appointment with someone else in about two weeks, as well as a potential lead for a rush appointment with another very highly regarded urologist.

I stand by my encouragement for people to get ultrasounds and MRIs while standing up. That is the only way we are going to get results.

Would you like me to add a way to log our tests and procedures to the website database as well? Seems it would be best to have everything in one place and I am happy to do it.
