To be honest, if you had this condition for more then a couple days or weeks, i don't think it is gotta go on its own. For me it slowly got worse with time. I have no idea what PE exercises will do to the hard flaccid because i have never done it and don't know what its about.Last edited by Nick_ca; 03-24-2011, 10:41 AM.

Your testosterone doesn't instantly fall in a single split second low enough to change your penis. Not unless you've been injected with some kind of estrogen/cortisol cocktail. But yes, it does play a part in the grand scheme. For one, testosterone is essential for maintaining the health of the penile tissues. Also...Originally posted by Nick_ca View PostFor some reasons, i think that testosterone could play a bigger role in this. Before i had these morning erections almost everyday, now i hardly get any or semi. I had random erections just thinking about a girl now sometimes its hard to get it up even when lying down.
In this case I'm not sure if the low libido is related to the depression/stress we suffer everyday or low testosterone. Well stress, depression = low testosterone but i could get erections in the past even in stressful times...
Low testosterone might cause bad blood circulation to the penis. I'm just saying hypothesis. Since we relatively don't know much about (even doctors don't know more!) i think any hypotesis is worth to be shared there.
Anxiety & Stress = Low T
Low T = a generally unhealthy penis
Low T = depression and low libido
An Unhealthy Penis = Anxiety & Stress
And around and around we go...
There is a vicious cycle there that needs to be broken as quickly as possible. If you continue on with stress hormones coursing through your veins the entire thing just gets progressively worse every day. You will screw up your hormone levels. You will interfere with your penises ability to heal itself of any damage. You will create more stress hormone that causes lower T which causes more depression which causes more stress hormone which causes lower T, and so on.
Stop panicking. Be proactive. Reading crazy hypotheses from people who haven't got any real medical results its the worst thing you can do to your mind. Do not take other people's diagnoses as your own. Be the boss of your own penis for god's sake. Go to the doctor. Tell them what's going on. Demonstrate it to them. Get tests performed while standing up. Do this until you have an answer and a fix. Those are only tasks which a clear-minded man in control of his own life can perform. A quivering, defeated weenie who is afraid to tell their mommy or show a doctor or nurse their dick for five minutes can't get the job done. Don't be that guy. Be a man and save your penis.
Shit, I would have an MRI butt naked on the 6 o'clock news tonight if I could. Be a man. Get your own tests. Save your own dick.

obitoo you are the kind that will argue and argue. People do what they can, we are living in a society, i can't just show up at the hospital yelling at everyone to solve my problem. This has nothing to do with being a man or not. Imagine if everyone did that, we would be in a crazy world.
If you have that bad attitude, then i prefer you do not respond to certain of my posts. Just saying go to the hospital or your not a man will not help any doctor getting interested in this, they need some tracks. We have no evidence that its not an hormonal issue.
I don't want to keep arguing because its better that we keep a good relation to help eachother..Peace & love

Ive been keeping an eye out on this thread. I suffer from the firm flaccid nonsense too and ive had the problem for over half a year now. Let me just tell you guys that i am not 18 but please do not ban me for something little like this, seriously. I am trying to just give my insight and help each other out as you all are.
I innjured my unit by simply stretching too hard and was stuck with strained ligament(s) from months. I thought this was going to be a permanent problem no matter how often i could still get an erection and maintain. I would still always have the soreness at the base and it always bothered me. Anyways, going to the doctors, hospital all just seems like a waste of time, in my honest opinion. unless you severly cannot even get a little bit of blood flowing into your penis and it feels like someone slammed a car door on it, you honestly should be able to heal with time and patience. Sure people have this problem for months and even years but let me tell you that i was on a 3 weeks streak of not masterbating and i would get erections 5x as much, even just sitting in class. My penis hung lower than it did when i first had injured my self, less hard flaccid, and most importantly the soreness went down by a lot. Then i blew it one night and just HAD to masterbate because i couldnt get rid of my erection. I noticed that i didnt wake up with a sore penis really, in fact the ligaments seem to be healed by now but instead i got the harsh feeling in the pelvic floor which is what all of you seem to be experiencing. its almost as if the pain transfered from the base of my penis to the plevic area :/
Point is i'm sure people can relate to my story and the best input i can say isdo everything get more blood flowing down there! The question is how?

You are misunderstanding me. Sorry if you think I was attacking you. I totally wasn't at all. I tend to start of posts in reply to something someone says, then go off on a tangent that is directed to anybody specifically. Sincerely. All I care about it helping everyone. The info I gave you about testosterone and stress are just simple facts. It's not really up for argument. I'd love to see everyone get out of that damaging cycle because it only does harm to your mind and body. That's all.Originally posted by Nick_ca View Postobitoo you are the kind that will argue and argue. As for getting proactive with treatment, I stand behind that. None of that was directed at you specifically. It is intended for all of the hundreds, and probably thousands, of guys who have this problem and have let it get them best of them and keep them from getting it fixed, through fear, shame, embarrassment or pacifism. There is nothing more frustrating than reading post after post of people with absolutely no medical background sitting around playing guessing games with each other while the most important part of their body rots away before their eyes. There is absolutely nothing that anyone on any message board can do to help you figure this out. There is nothing that guessing or speculating has done for anyone. Nothing. There are people who have had this for years and they have allowed themselves to spiral into a depression/hormone black hole while they waste day after day guessing what it could be - going from one exotic hypothesis to the next. That is obviously not the answer.
I am simply trying to encourage people, not you - just people, all people, to get off their asses, stop playing guessing games with your penis and go get tests done. It's really just way more simple and way more productive. It's way less depressing too. It's also way more encouraging. I can't describe how uplifting it was to go to a doctor and even get partial answer or clue as to what is going on. You have no idea what a relief it is for someone to hook you up to a machine and say "oh, well that's interesting. blah blah blah." instead of sitting on the internet wondering if you're suffering from some rare and exotic multi-system disease. The simplest answer is usually the right one. We all present with very obvious and clear symptoms. We are actually lucky in that regard, as far as being "sick" goes.
This is WAY easier to troubleshoot, test and diagnose than a million other actual diseases that are totally invisible. It's a matter of just getting off the sidelines and doing it. Hey, if people prefer to let it beat them and would rather play doctor with other completely untrained people online instead, go for it. It's your penis and your life. The two hours spent here today guessing could have been spent in a lab getting scans done. Call. Make an appointment. Go to it. That's all I'm saying. Don't take it personally.

Staying off your feet seems to be the only way for right now. The blood stops flowing only when standing up, for the vast majority of people anyway.Originally posted by Bromandude View PostPoint is i'm sure people can relate to my story and the best input i can say isdo everything get more blood flowing down there! I cant imagine that blood flow completely stops when we stand up. If that were that case, any standing for an extended period of time would result in a cold, ischemic, painful dick.... and the tissue would begin to die due to lack of proper oxygen supply.Originally posted by obitoo View PostStaying off your feet seems to be the only way for right now. What you describe was my case, my glans was always cold white and looked really bad. Then i started to use magnesium (250gr pill everyday) it helps for me. I stopped using it today so my symptoms show up even more during the ultrasound.Originally posted by RJ-dude View PostI cant imagine that blood flow completely stops when we stand up. Anyways tomorrow i hope i can see my doctor to have a referral for an ultrasound. Obitoo got some positive results so i think we should go into that direction and making the good steps as soon as possible to have this testing. The more legit results we have the more doctors will be interested.

Here are some of the details of my recent testing: LINKOriginally posted by RJ-dude View PostI cant imagine that blood flow completely stops when we stand up. People are experiencing plenty of pain, disfigurement, permanent shrinking, nerve damage, numbness and more. All of those are due to this lack of circulation. Those are the words of doctors and neurologists I've been seeing, not something I just came up with on my own. The lack of blood is very real and very serious. I've got more than one of those things happening in my pants right now after only two weeks.

One thing I was thinking about, what if, by some chance, I go in to have these tests done and I dont have the firm flaccid. In a couple of uro appointments it just so happened I was hanging normally for that 2% of time and the uro couldnt find anything wrong. What would I do in that situation? Still get tested I guess..

You can try to make the things that trigger your hard flaccid. Like for me if i sit on a chair for 5 minutes i know that i'll have a really bad hard and cold flaccid for the next hours... Or if i sprint/train for a couple minutes.Originally posted by john1960 View PostOne thing I was thinking about, what if, by some chance, I go in to have these tests done and I dont have the firm flaccid. There are people who have gotten this from harmless everyday masturbation, like meyself. And even people who claim to have gotten it from smoking weed. I supposed anything is possible.Originally posted by waff View PostDo you guys think its possible I've gotten this condition after doing only 1 exercise session of 100 jelqs and 5x1min stretches?
