Ancient Astronaut Theory and the History of Penis Enlargement

Ancient astronaut theory, as proposed by Eric Von Daniken and recently revived on the A&E Show Ancient Aliens, make a strong case for many of the ancient rituals of various worldwide cultures come from influences made by visitors to this planet from other worlds. Many of the visitors described in ancient books, including the bible, are described as giants. Von Daniken makes the case that many cultures mimic these visitors in many rituals and practices, such as elongating heads and necks. Another theme that runs through the Historical Art from many cultures worldwide are ancient fertility symbols that emphasize enlarged sexual organs. The Venus of Villendorf being a classic example. The enlarged, and often exaggeratedly so phallic symbol, can be found everywhere, from egyptian obelisks, to pyramids, to our own Washington Monument. Could it be that our society's obsession with big penises and breasts and all sexual organs comes from those ancient encounters with giants? I am interested to know what you think. Sometimes I ask myself, why do I care so much? And I see that same questions asked to many times on this forum. Could this be something that is written into our ancient and primordial subconscious? I actually believe there is a connection, maybe subconsciously, but it's there.

As you stated before, the Egyptians have a magnificent obsession with this stuff. IMHO, The Egyptians ( And other ancient societies as well, Babylonians, Atlantians, yes i believe that ) definitely had alien contact. Logically, It's how this fascination started.

Ever heard the term "Ithyphallic" ?

The Egyptian god, Min, was a deity of fertility. His carvings/statues ALWAYS depicted him with a big powerful erection. He and his statues are Ithyphallic.

Another example from Ancient Egyptian/Assyrian culture are the Tekhenu (Obelisks). Do you really think it is a coincidence that these powerful symbols that had a connection to the Gods (possibly aliens?), so strongly resembles a hard one?

So yes, I believe that this obsession/fascination, primarily had my men, started ages ago. And for some whatever reasons, be it culture, transcendence, or whatever, It continues...

P.S. I'm kind of a nut when it comes to ancient societies lol.

I jest, but I fail to see the truth in speculation about those things that can neither be proven or revoked. It is an argument that can never be won or ever be disproven.

Another theory is these ancient astronauts might have been from our own planet.

Firstly, Ancient Astronouts has some serious issues, but I love it anyway. Secondly, I think guys have been obsessed with their penises as long as we've had them and that obsession is a better explanation. Being bigger and more powerful than normal men is an easy leap to Giants.

Now, what really piques my curiosity is ancient megalithic structures, especially those buried under the ocean since before the last ice age recession that predate Mesopotamia by thousands of years and literally could rewrite our human history.

seriously, it's obvious that the universe is infinitely large. We know of billions of galaxy's full of billions of stars. Every time we study a distant star system we find exo planets. So, I figure there must be other life out there. I bet the universe is teaming with life. Their may be entities that have evolved into god like beings over billions of years making us seem like monkeys in comparison. And a lot of evidence of alien visitation is compelling. However; I have big problem with the ancient alien theory's. Every time they see a magnificent ancient structure or piece of engineering. They propose aliens had to have built it, because people were too dumb and backwards back then. Well that is offensive to humanity. Just because they, the alien theorist can't figure it out don't mean the folks way back then didn't have the brains to figure it out. Not that I don't think aliens may have interacted with us then or now I just need prof of it. Also, I believe one can believe in the existence of other intelligent beings and still be spiritual or be live in God.
