Here's the guideline I use for cheating -- Would your significant other be hurt, angry, sad, unhappy, etc. with something sexual you're doing with another person? If so - then it's cheating.
AKA - Don't do it.
If you're not ready to exclusively be with your current partner, be respectful of them enough to let them know. They at least deserve that.Comment

While I think sexting is a milder form of infidelity, it's INFIDELITY, none the less! I've never sexted (is THAT a word?), preferring instead to "share" my DONG in "the flesh"
; but I wouldn't do that at the risk of screwing up a genuine relationship with a GF. Sexting to me is a form of "exhibitionism" for the sender, and a bit of "voyeurism" for the recipient (if they get a thrill out of receiving them). It seems harmless on the surface, but it can wreck a good relationship if it's done without your partner's knowledge or approval.
