I just want to say Vera doesn't sound like she's from up here. Tho it might be how the southerns think we sound.

I think they should of picked a Geordie actress for the role.

They had her say the other night "He played you like a fish" ha ha what's that about?? That's not a saying up here.

The boys know he's saying at their Momma's. They been over for a few hours today but he stayed in his bedroom
Women were created from the rib of man to be beside him, not from his head to top him, nor from his feet to be trampled by him, but from under his arm to be protected by him, near to his heart to be loved by him.

Damn, I hate seeing this to happen to people and I'm a complete zero to give advice on kids or relationships, but having gone through some seriously shitty times in my life up to the point where it really was a coin toss whether I would go on or just give up, all I can say is that feelings are temporary. Just give it time. Most of the time things don't end up being the maelstrom of poo they first seem to be.

That's what I thought Tara, no real accent after having worked with them, mind you get 4 Geordies talking you could be in another country well the ones we worked with did, the guy I worked with just used to stand and go there off in there own world, good guys though and worked hard.

But then it has to be toned down for the whole of the UK to see it.

Right back to the olive press, got oil to pick up.

Hi Tara how's things now then, are they getting better? I think slowly they will, I lot will depend how much he bonded with Lennon.

Just keep your chin up and keep your kids happy in anyway it takes.

Unbelievably hard. Our son has took it hard.

I'm just trying to keep everything as normal as possible.

I know it's hard to see your son like this. It's pretty much a grieving process he will go through - the loss of what he thought was his family unit. Keep your chin up though, now that you have been honest with him, he will find it easier to confide in you and his grieving process will be smoother and quicker. He will also adjust quicker to the new "family unit". Make sure you take care of yourself too, sometimes we are so consumed with our children, we forget that we are suffering too. You're allowed to grieve, to be angry, sad and yes occasionally happy without feeling guilty. I'm here if you need an ear either privately or on the forums.

                Last night was hard.

My ex said he would come after work. He's currently finishing at 6.30pm and would get to mine for about 7pm.

I told our son when I picked him up from nursery at 4.30pm. He was excited and even tidied all his toys away out of the sitting room.

Of course he's got no gasp of time and started to get stressed saying he wasn't coming. He normally goes to bed at 8pm but fell asleep at 7pm last night on the sofa. I think waiting worn him out.

My ex got to mine at 7.10pm. I literally couldn't wake him up.

So this morning he was heartbroken that he missed his father. Which resulted in a verbal fight with my ex to come over this morning. He wasn't starting work until 10am.

He came and Lennon went into nursery happy after spending 30min this morning with his Daddy.

My ex isn't happy with me but I told he's got a responsibility to support and help Lennon thru this.

Sorry Tara a bit behind here, I don't think fighting with hubby will do any good at this moment, you are right in what your saying but try and keep toned down.

The time to have a real dig is when he says he's not coming back anymore, well that's how I think.

Agreed. I just hope he won’t try to hurt you by letting his son suffer from his not seeming interested in Lil’ Lennon. That would be very small and petty of him. If so, just another reason to have booting him out.
A prayer, is kinda the same as a "Like". If there are enough likes, God will take notice. So "Like" away please. My daughter needs your prayers. Thank You.

So far he hasn't but it's been me making him.

Lennon has all of sudden started repeating himself. It's not stutter, hes sayin the first few words of his sentence a few times before getting it out.

I don't know if it stress at what's happened. Of course I googled it and it says it can be a sign of autism.

I'm going to see if it passes the next few days before seeking advice.

Two thoughts...focus on what's best for the kids. One word...stability. Provide an atmosphere he can rely on to know he is loved and taken care of no matter what.

Possibly might be a good time for a little extra attention. Maybe doing something fun?

^^ Exactly, kids need a structured daily routine that they follow.. A routine helps with stability and thinking because the variables are for the most part out of the picture.. If it just started, it would be pretty safe in saying it's not autism.. That is a sign of a stress trigger, I know this personally..

Behind again Tara look google autism the look for autismspeaks.org and your see its not autism.

I think the reason behind it is he is thinking what to say and why that's happening he is just repeating the start of the sentence, could be he is showing how upset he is.

Give him a week and see how its going, give lots of Mummy love as you know how, cook some of his favorite foods.
