You could just say "this helped me, if you want to know more, you can ask me, i did this for [insert your amount of experience] years & you should know it's real" then hand him the book. You could add "this is not just about making it bigger, but about taking care of your health, so I feel you may find this useful"

In school we are taught to work out so we can make our muscles bigger if we want. Letting your son be aware that we can also 'exercise our penis' is not necessarily a bad thing. Just a very awkward thing for most guys to talk about.

I think sons will find it more awkward than fathers...

Blink, you bring up a good point. Just be honest about it. Kids today get fed so much bullsh*t that being honest is probably the best way to go. My buddy recently let his son in on PE when he gave him "the talk". (My buddy's son is 12 I believe, maybe 13) He said he just introduced along with masturbation as something normal that some guys to for health reasons. He didn't mention size yet because he didn't want his son to think he's small. He told him he does it too and that it's normal. He said he'll let him in on more as he matures.

This isn't a fact. Genetics have been proven to be as accurate as you are describing them to be. If so, then if two parents that are 5'10" would not be able to get a short child, which we all know to be possible. There are too many factors contributing to penis size in order for you to make such a claim.

Shit knows guys. I dunno. If my dad mentioned dick shit my bro would probably hit him with a headbutt. Its just not cool. Apparently you do not like reading about scientific articles, since this has happened a couple of times. Due to African genetics being far-far-far-far back in their ancestral history, they managed to give birth to a black baby. Though they are considered completely white due to their looks, and most of their genetic make-up. So genetics do not work in the way you might think WAW. And as long as there is even one incident that falsifies a theory(which is the case in our instance). The theory is no longer valid. Now, I am not saying that genes do not determine such things as penis size. Of course they do, but my point is, that process is FAR more complex than you are stating, and for now still a field filled with enigmas.
