why England?

Because England is a great country with great education system, top standard free health care, it has good laws to protect the people, in general a safe enviroment to live and the standard of life here is better than any other country.

Side: I just noticed you are in Europe. Are you an American? Its great to want to live in another part of the world.
No need to answer if too personal but, are you saving/making arrangements for your move to one of those countries?

Just an open question: Do you think if an American moves abroad that someone from another country should be able to take their spot, literally? If you agree with that, do you think the American leaving should be in control of who gets the spot (of course the US would do all the ID checks etc... but the person leaving owns their spot to give out).

I personally would like to see American's in charge/own their spot in this country. It would have a value, a trade value. Once they sell it, give it away and leave the next person coming in actually comes in with an asset in hand. Talk about really valuing your right to life in this here nation lol hahahaha Say that with a great country accent hahahaha

For those of you making snide remarks about me or any others not preparing for what is to come, you are totally off base. My family has invested heavily in gold (bought a shit ton of it when it was only $600 an oz ) and a bit in silver as well. We have non-perishable food and water, as well as a good stock of assault weapons in our house. We hope never to use any of those items, but we have them just in case. That is what I have done...what have you been doing?

I think you are doing the right thing. Only thing is the gold. I'll see if I can find info on that and share it with you. I believe we need to get ready for very bad times.

England: The country has it great. It is very expensive though. The only thing that keeps me from wanting to live there is the muslims. They WILL have that country taken over at some point.

I live in an area that is filled with Muslims and have a lot of Muslim friends that I've known since I started nursery school and they aren't terrorists wanting to takeover and blow everyone up like they are portrayed by the media, most of them are just like you and me.

The Prince (in HTML here) is basically a theory of power, control and how to rule. Have a look at the table of contents linked there for an overview.

Summarily, Machiavelli asserts that a great ruler is powerful and feared rather than benevolent and kind, although the appearance of benevolence is important so as to instil patriotism. As such, a kingdom (or principality) is best served by strength rather than compassion. Hence the word "Machiavellian" which refers to a heartless exhibition of self-serving power, supposedly, but not necessarily to the benefit of its subject.

The sparknotes are pretty concise.

I would also note that since its publication in the 16th century, Italy has not been known for its great empire.

That Machiavelli is a right bugger. Diabolical. The Prince was suppose to be for politics, but it has moved into everyday life. Lot's of the way things are done you would be surprised to find out that it was put forth by Machiavelli. I don't have the words to describe how sinister his philosophy is.

I don't think the world will end, and honestly I think Obama will come and go, as will who ever follows him, with nothing too eventful besides lost civil liberties.
I think most conspiracies will end up being false, but don't think people are foolish at all for believing them or asking the tough questions, our government is mostly good people but don't doubt that truly awful people find their way in there and have influence, example
