I think I would know if somebody used a "tactful" word or phrase - and that would feel MORE like an insult or a problem.
If someone says I'm normal, I think ok, there's room to improve if I want, but if I don't make the effort, it's normal. It's fine.
If someone says I'm "acceptably endowed" or something, it's going to feel like you're avoiding saying something you think would hurt my feelings. That is MORE likely to set me off and make me wonder what you're avoiding saying.
Just tell it like it is, and work on guys' SELF CONFIDENCE to ACCEPT THE TRUTH instead of playing these ego games. The best thing you can do for a guy is teach him to be proud of who and what he is, not to pretend HE'S AWESUM!!111 and play tact games. It's like saying a fat girl has a "great personality". Anyone with an ounce of intelligence will notice, whether they realise or admit it or not.
